- What's up gangsters! It's been a while, but I'm back to take a look at some obscure "outsider art" masterpieces and what better way to start than with The Huldra! This virtually unseen so-bad-it's-good movie tells the story of Joseph and Julie who fall in love while trying to recreate the famous clock tower hanging scene from the 1923 classic silent movie Safety Last! but then Julie turns out to be A HULDRA?? Oh oh oh, indeed...

Agreed! If there was such a thing as 'running' to a TH-cam video the second I realise it's been uploaded, he's the only person I do that for. I'd honestly, swear on my life, watch regular TV if Jeroen had a show reviewing movies on it.

aw man! i remember watching your disturbing movie reviews back in college (probably 2016-2017), but fell off TH-cam for quite a while and am only now remembering how much of a comforting presence your videos were for me! Liked the movie, it was like being on a tilt-a-whirl in movie form. As an aside, this channel has kinda guided me through the years from edgy teenager that was interested in disturbing stuff to young adult that just loves unique cinema, which has been awesome in broadening my horizons and finding rare gems like this one, Fight of Fury, the Amazing Bulk, etc.
I loved this review it was laugh out loud funny - keep going please. Seriously though on a practical point it is really useful to watch reviews of films that are so bad they will make me be vomit into my shoes in case I ever need to do that. Thanks.

Even though the spinning is really annoying I kinda like it, I’m assuming it’s a reference to how skogsrået would skew men’s sense of direction to make them walk in endless circles in the woods. I’ll probably have to check the movie out just to see if they actually got the mythology right.

I might even like it more if if you did these good bad movies. I like the disturbing breakdowns but am not ALWAYS in the right mood for it. These lighter movies are good for any time.

I just found this movie on TH-cam and TRIED to watch it, but couldn’t. Literally. I got motion sickness from the spinning camerawork. But what I saw was so bad, it wasn’t even entertaining.

I watch a lot of the people you listed and I think your best bet would be the obscure stuff instead of more popular ones like “The Room”, anything by Neil Breen, or the guy who made “Cool Cat”. Then again, I didn’t realize something like “Love on a Leash” was popular? I only saw Ralph review that one.
Diamanda Haugen is one I used to watch and she reviews super weird, creepy, gross, obscure stuff. I always thought y’all would collab one day.

I'm not sure how or why, but every time I watch nonsense and bad horror/disturbing movies, they get better and funnier every time I re-watch those movies. Some movies are just too bad that it becomes a good movie or ever a classic.
