Ending world hunger is fixing all distribution problems and corruption which prevent us from fixing it already. In order to solve it, a whole host of interconnected problems must be solved. We have the resources to solve it already, we just lack distribution.
I don’t think it’s that complicated when we look at the basics of it. Oversimplifying the problem, it’s how much food we can make minus how much each person needs to eat. Things like supply lines, storage, and transportation isn’t that complicated either. Corruption is pretty simple too, but people enjoy corrupt governments so it’s not like solving a puzzle than having too many low IQ citizens. But I agree with Ze on overpopulation, infinite growth is inherently unsustainable. Solving world hunger is great only if laws also set limits on population.
If that's the cause then choosing to end world hunger would solve all those problems, otherwise the choice doesn't actually end world hunger. It would be like saying "you find the cure for cancer, but the cure is death"
I guess if you truly solved world hunger then it implies we actually managed to control the birth rate, so I guess it really is the better choice on saving people.
