Not only does the frog defend the eggs, but it lets the wasps know exactly what it thinks of them. 3:04
😂
he gave them the bird.
@@mohiburshuvo I thought the same thing.
The cinematography of these nature documentaries are out of this world
Amazing video capture
@@viktoriyaromanyuk1343 Was the frog a paid actor?
Incredible footage, thank you for the education
And special!
Such a devoted father. This video has proven its worth of becoming a Father's Day special.
The fact that the male frogs risk their own lives against overwhelming odds to guard their offspring is some next-level dedication. They're truly world-class dads!🐸👏
Also, it's fascinating that nature has engineered not one or two but three safety measures to increase the tadpoles' chances of survival:
1. Huge numbers.
2. The male's camouflaged back that serves as a distraction against predators.
3. The tadpoles' ability to drop out of harm's way into the river below.
You forgot one, probably the first; camouflage. They blend in with the green leaves. This works I bet 9 times out of 10 in the first place and for the majority, nothing ever sees them.
Perfectly summarised.. Mother Nature is indeed the master architect
Silence, doctrine of discovery promoter. Jesus is a fraud.@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist8
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist8 Amen, I believe in Jesus Christ. God is good and He is patient with all of us, so let's keep praying for the lost and let's show them Christ's love as you are doing now.
The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. -2 Peter 3: 9
Jesus is coming soon,
God bless you.
@@adamsanchez222Oh look, a cult manifesting itself in the wild. BBC sure has nice content. 🍿
Emotionally charged! Who knew I would be rooting for a wee frog 8AM in the morning. The music and cinematography was perfect. Such tense moments for the male frog and I'm not even a father!! Bless all God's creatures ❤️
LOVE IT! Only yesterday, I found a green Tree Frog similar to this one in size, on the underside of a big leaf in my garden. I was absolutely thrilled. Frogs are apparently a sign of GOOD LUCK and PROSPERITY. 👍🙏😍
нет
Fascinating! We also got on camera wasps trying to break into a bee hive, and even though they are much bigger than the bees, it didn't look easy for them...
The animal kingdom is a true miracle of perseverance and strength ❤
Fight wasps is scary enough as a human. I can't imagine how terrifying they must be when they're as big as your whole dang torso!
Fantastic cinematography on this.
What an amazing defense mechanism. I didn't know frogs could do that.
He uhhh... just kicked his legs???
@@SunriseMidnightbro literally kicked forward across his back too. They probably meant the direction of those legs.
@@SunriseMidnight It is not just about kicking the legs;)

Smart animals
it truly is a jungle
out there for us all
bravo to this brave
dad
Incredibly well filmed with more suspense then many crime films, and with the best narration voice it is great !
Father frog is a Rambo & Superstar, he protects his "kids/brood"" heroically ! ✌💚! 💚
I don’t even hear David Attenborough anymore that’s just what nature sounds like when it’s narrated
I don't too much care for frogs, but THIS ONE here made me say damn that's a cool dad! That first kick had me laughing so hard 🤣🤣
The ultimate 🐸 Dad 💪🏼 ❤
As noble as it gets! ☺️
I have always enjoyed your videos over the many years. Thank you.❤
Me expecting the frog to eat the wasps or release some kind of toxin.
Frog: *kick*
Incredible footage!
An incredible video Thank you.
Omg! I was cheering for the frog daddy.
Proof that even frogs are better dads than some humans!
What's the mom doing?! She out CHEATING! 😂😂😂
너무 생생하고 생동감이 느껴져요. 몰입감 최고!
Such incredible cinematography.
Loved it, felt like it was a movie! I ❤ Nature.
This was so much more intense than I could have anticipated
The frog is given out kung fu kick to the wasps and wow that's art of defending your offspring
Beautiful video
"Frog Defends Eggs From Wasps"
(Frog sits there and does nothing while wasps eat his tadpoles alive)
Seriously though, amazing footage, as usual.
Thanks BBC earth 👍
BBCs sound magnifying microphones are so impressive!
That is amazing, didn’t know wasps eat meat nor that frogs lay eggs out of water. Love the frog flick.
I have seen wasps eat caterpillars, but never tadpoles.
That video name should have read frog mercilessly does nothing while eggs are attacked and eaten. Lol.
Fortune favors bravery! Not always though. Poor dad occasionally was found devoured by a predator. Frogs demonstrate unusual forms of parental care. Here's one of them. His beautiful coloration is playing a part of it! This is BBC.
"but in the jungle, there's always someone out to get you" dropping them hard bars
wasp: appears
larvae: *THIS IS MY KINGDOM C-*
If by ‘defend against’ you mean ‘watch them eat his babies,’ it was pretty impressive.
as someone who doesn't like watching nature documentaries these ones are just incredible
they make it as viewer friendly as possible with better production quality than most Movies and T.V Shows and Series
What a great footage and video quality 👍
3:04 THE MIDDLE FINGER😂😂
I never knew there was such a variety of of squishes and wet slap sounds in the world, the Foley artists really outdid themselves here
its a beautiful way to end the day
"Those back kicks were definitely very personal coming from a dad"
The frogs response to wasp seems like the response some people give when they feel a bug crawling over them.
Nature is amazing, this footage is amazing.
Imagine if he was carrying a weapon.
Over the top video, as usual. Others have tried, but nobody does it better.
Just a single day is a mark for success!🕊🌸
Didn't you already upload this year's ago? This footage has been around for a while
2 weeks of ninja 🥷🏻 frog 🐸 kicks 😜 that’s badass
That was some amazing survival skills, never seen anything like it!! Thanks for sharing! 👍😄💕
Frog smart jenius
As always... The CAMERAMAN WINS!!
Thank you for the knowledge
I'll be so happy when the 3rd one airs in the USA!!!!
Frog smart animals
I didn't expect the front kicks!
Frog shows the middle finger after kicking wasp
frog smart❤
Defending his kids with Karate kicks

Seen this before.
You could say, a frog doing martial arts against a wasp
Those kicks man 😂😂😂

Daddy Daycare ❤❤❤
Wow! That is truly awesome!
Ah yes nature, the most beautiful thing in this planet
What about eating and Leaving the nest, and what of the females part of laying those eggs?.
Amazing 💚
Only good thing bbc do know
"There's always someone out to get you"
Boy ain't that the truth!! Even for humans!
I should have searched BbC Earth earlier instead of searching for 4K UHD Nature videos that are so dumb scenes compared to this brilliant production 😅❤
Froggg 😍
Nature is indeed beautiful and scary!
Loved it!
Amazing!
Amazing video like it
Переживал за яички как за свои
😂
This is crazy
Children take note, being a parent is tough!
Which countries jungle is it, someone knows?
after each kick, it gives a finger to the wasp.
Why haven't the wasps learned that they should just sting to death whatever "clutch of eggs" that kicks them away?
Thanks for this marvellously captured video showing a father's love for his unborn children. Reminds me of John 3:16...16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Credit to the camera man..
Sir David Attenborough
