Just copped a low top purple suede on sale for 75 bucks, couldn't pass that up, and still gonna keep looking for more. Long live Clark's Wallabies!!.

I love how Wallabees have infiltrated so many different areas and cultures but people always ignore what was going on with them in actual Britain itself lol. In the “Mod” fashion scene in the 60s, the mix of british and Jamaican culture in a lot of the music that came out of the U.K. in the 70s and early 80s and then what we know as the “Britpop” bands of the 90s too

I'm from Brooklyn Maryland Baltimore Maryland and the first time I ever saw a pair of Walla's was Ghostface and that album cover and I was like the first person and my hood to rock a pair and I could not find them anywhere. like getting to New York was not a thing I was 14 it was 1994 and no stores sold Clarks. let alone a two-tone color pair so like the first pair I had where some pea green leather high tops and a pair of yellow leather high tops and I found them in like a old dress shoe store in the middle of the city. now I mean you can get them online like nothing but people tried clowning me like it what the f*** is that you wearing but my peoples from New York knew what the deal was . ... thanks Ghost 💯💯

It was tough to score these a number of years back. Before I could get the official ones, I actually had a Lugz pair in highschool. One kid used to refer to them as "duck shoes". I eventually found a small store that sold them and bought both a brick red and a sand color as my first 2 pairs. Nowadays I have a good number of pairs. The colorways and textures just keep on coming. Glad they came out with a Wu edition as they were one of the reasons I became hooked on copping them.

Yo Ryan, I served in the Navy with some cats from B-more around that time they rocked Clarks. I knew about Clarks from the Jamaicans down here in Miami...we were wearing them in the '80's....we could them like anywhere '80's and 90's especially the flea markets....I actually had low cut suede blue/brown and low cut green/brown and all green suede around '90-'91...those were the days!!!
