I'm also one of the people who considers this a neon, but I also own a 95 impreza with 320wtq/319whp on a dyno dynamics. It may not be a beast like yours but still surprises a lot of people. I don't understand why people don't just call them "Neon SRT4". I call subarus "WRX STi" and "Impreza WRX", there is nothing to hide for people who know what the factory does to upgrade them. Its easier for non car people when you give the model first, like when douchey people answer to a non car person "Its a z06" or "its a z71" or "its a z31" and they know damn well its a corvette, silverado, and 300zx.
It was originally marketed as the Neon SRT4 in 2003. It was a neon with the SRT trim. In 2004 and 2005 it was its own car when you purchased it title the SRT4. I just tell people its a turbo neon.

No hate please. I have a turbo pt cruiser sitting around, LOTS of turbo stuff, and a 420a eclipse head that's ported and polished. I'm trying to find out if it will bolt onto my block so I can have a bigger turbo after moving my battery to the back. I don't care about oil or fuel lines, I can do all of that. I just want to know if it can be done with that head and block. Thanks for advice. Head is ported and polished with crower springs and valves, I have adjustable can gears, using a srt4 and an eclipse cam. I can make my own fmic, closed loop bov, steel braided fuel lines, electronic boost controller, 3 inch exhaust dumped out of passenger side fender, and lots of other random awesomeness.
i got stock srt-4 and my oem vac gauge broke so i bought mechanical boost gauge (not vac. just boost) where do i connect hose or T bypass? this car has so many vac lines it confuses me. thanks!!
An 06 sti was running 9s with less whp and stock longblock,, is your limiting factor being fwd? I know 9s are fast, just curious. A guy in town recently did some work on his and I'm curious to see what he does at the track. His is daily driven though
The physics just don’t allow the front wheel drive neon to be as fast as an all wheel drive car I love my neon so much but you can’t beat physics after a point your spinning wheel
racing productions you can do it for under 15 probably, you just need built motor Bst has one for 7k I think an a turbo big enough for that is probably 2k
did nobody notice the fact that it is not the correct head nor engine that came factory to an srt4? factory the exhaust side of the head is towards the firewall.

It's a 420a head from a an old dodge avenger simple head is reversed from srt 4 and allow more space for turbo
