Sooo ..a month ago I sat learned this for 5 days , played the video like 3 times a day , know it like the back of my hand , gave my fiancé a belly dance and now I’m pregnant 😭thank you honestly 🩷🩷I love it 😍
I am passionate about bellydance from over 10 years and I always watch everyone I find online. I must say you are the best, your explinations are clear and easy to follow. I would love if you make a video for "Habiby ya nour el ain" - Amr Diab ❤❤
felicitaciones!!!! que linda coreo, me has hecho bailar y la disfrute muchisimo!! feliz 2024 en la danza y en tu vida personal, un abrazo desde la Patagonia Argentina!!!
WOW! I’m searching for a nice beginner choreography to impress my mother in law. She’s a belly dancer teacher and judge. I think it will be a great surprise 💕
thank you ! THIS IS THE BEST TH-cam CHANNEL IVE COME ACROSS. this was so fun, i’m sweating buckets right now after i finished but it was worth it, i can’t wait to do more of ur vids !!! 😩💕
I've done this routine for 2 days now from beginning to end every second!! No training at all just wanted to learn. What a workout haha. Beautiful dance ❤ it's coming along for me 😍
You are amazing! I like that you have taught a complete dance for us to learn. Up til now, I've learned only bits and pieces of a dance. It's not going to be easy, but I'm going to practice this until I can do it. Thank you 🤍
Im so glad you found this video helpful! Dance, like most things, takes time and practice! Best of luck in pursuing your dance dreams and thank you for letting me be part of your journey! 🙏💖
I love this routine, I am trying to learn it as my 1st solo, but I'm trying to figure out the left and rights, not sure what's the leg that is "free" when starting. Your teaching details are awesome and I can understand the movements I just can't figure out my L and R, lol.
All your content is fantastic! So I actually noticed that near the end of this video around the fifty minute mark you included a lower worn perspective with the hip scarf, sometimes I position mine so that some of my upper legs area is showing and the dance then becomes more challenging for me, I was wondering if you could include this kind of low worn perspective, more so than how you had it in this video? Really really low from the sides, so we can see how to really perfect it from yourself a great teacher
I've given myself the challenge to learn this. Decided to leave out the arm details for now while I learn the steps. I'm not good with snake arms and rolling arms. This is a beautiful routine. Beautiful dancer too. Im giving myself 2 moths to learn it. Im beginner . Any tips. ?
Hello! I think setting a goal for completing something is great! Bellydance is a very intricate and technical dance style, and the success of learning it may take some time. So my only tip is to not get discouraged if things don’t happen immediately. Practicing regularly helps develop muscle memory so I definitely recommend shorter, more frequent training sessions… rather than rare long ones. The snake arms will come with time - it’s just a matter of getting your muscles used to a fluidity. I think once you have the steps learned, ensuring that you listen to music (and imagine that your body is representing what the instruments are playing). Then you really make the transition from “doing movements” to “dancing.” Good luck! 🍀
OMG thank you for this! You're such a fabulous teacher and I love your energy :) I am just getting into belly dancing (I've never danced ANY style of dance before). I'm really struggling with those figure 8s!
I'm SO glad you found this video helpful and welcome to the magical world of Belly Dance! :) Thanks for the kind words, and I will try to break down figures 8s in my next video!
Is there a specific name for the move where you do a hip circle and spin your entire body around at the same time? This move is very tough for me, even with your tip about remaining flat footed! I'd love to be able to find a specific tutorial on that move. I feel as though I may be leading with the wrong foot or stepping at the part of the hip circle.
Hello! I link to the original song in the description, but here is the link again: th-cam.com/video/F2r6Fv9-Yp4/w-d-xo.html You can find that Bellydance Superstars Album on Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify - anywhere and purchase it from there!
Hello! This falls into the “oriental” genre of belly dancers music. If we take it out of the “dance” context, people refer to it as “classical” Arabic music. In the time of the classic singers like Warda, Oum Kolthoum, Abdel Halim, etc, the songs were verrrrry long and consisted of very long instrumental sections in between the actual lyrics of the song. This is an example of a small instrumental excerpt that is part of a longer song. Does that help? :)
Hello Andrea! That's a tough question. It really depends on a) how much experience the dancer has and how familiar they are with bellydance steps (or any steps for that matter), and b) how many hours a day they practice. Learning choreography is also a very cognitive skill, not only a physical one. I find it helpful to WATCH a routine over and over to help me remember it, in addition to actually dancing it repetitively.
What is Olga’s last name.I try to search for her by her first name and I come up with so many Olgas.I like her choreographies.Even her first name I found out from the viewers.
