Seems like a massive mistake: the troops Cocytus led into battle were created by Ainz using Raise Undead to create low level undead (standard zombies/skeletons). The Old Guard is around lvl 30 and would have just grinded the lizardmen into the ground with just a 100 of them.
The old guard aren't actually level 30 since thats death knight level or adamantite class adventurer level There somewhere between level 15-20, which is just around mythril adventurer level or the level of the lizardman chiefs

Also keep in mind their personal equipment as well. So it would only take a couple of master guards to destroy all the lizardmen.
Great video, but when do you think when Ainz will add high tier undead to his army ranks? Seeing as a humans limits can only make up to level 40 undead, I think that a Beastmen body may be able to make level 50-60 undead, seeing how they are 10 times stronger than the average human. If Ainz can get his Hands on enough giants and dragons bodies, I think he could use them to make undead of level 75+, as they have the strongest bodies you can get. What do you think?
Perhaps, but many of his high-level creation skills consume EXP too, which he is very reluctant to do, since he would lose power, and might have trouble getting it back. Unlike Yggdrasil where he could just go to a suitable map and farm it for a bit, finding opponents in the New World that he can gain any worthwhile EXP from is a real challenge. That is a big part of why he is interested in recruiting and controlling the residents of the New World, to be able to field armies that don't rely on him or Nazarick directly
Tall Troll that’s all true, but remember that he can is his skill to creat 4 level 70 undead every day, and he can combine 2 of them, so he can create 2 level 90 undead. While it is true that there are some monsters/ undead do cost XP, ( like grim reaper Thanatos), he can still create some from his skills like “eternal death”
Tall Troll talking about XP, do you think that Ainz could just used Avarice and generosity to store XP from farming his high tier summons from his staff?
How long after the release of volume 14 do you guys think a pdf English translated version of volume 14 is going to be made? Itd be cool it it was released in English as well at the same time right...
List of high tier mercenary monster/ undead summons: grim reaper Thanatos, overlord general, overlord wiseman, overlord cronos master, hanzo (and it’s different sub types), pale rider, eternal death and eyeball corpse. Hope this will help in the future video :)
Those scrolls consume a lot of Y gold though, a resource that is finite and has many uses. They are working on being able to replenish it, but for the moment it's a last ditch option. In the worst case, running out might lead to losing the Great Tomb, and maybe the disbanding of the Guild. Ainz has no intention of testing that particular system to see what happens
@@lootah9791 They can replenish it slowly via the Exchange Box in the Treasury, but its at a rate of a coin or two for a bushel of NW wheat, or an iron ingot. Part of the reason Ainz wants an empire is to siphon off a small amount of the produce for processing into Y gold, but rather than just seizing what he wants, he intends to do it in a sustainable way, only taking any excess over and above what his subjects need to live (and live well at that, not at just a subsistence level). He's good at thinking long term
Im wondering: What are the conditions to summon something? Have some levels on a specific class to summon an especific monster. Example: 5 lvl Priest and you can summon Angel Frame The Karma? Be a Magic Caster?
its not so overpowered in the beginning but given time it could be broken. over a few days not so much of a big deal but given 10 or hundreds of years he could go to every graveyard and tomb in the world and likely revive billions of death knight-lower tier and even multiple high tier undead plus if he manages to rule the entire world instead of burying corpses they could be brought to him for undead creation
12 years for an MMO (even a full virtual immersive one in this case) is a pretty long time. There aren't really many MMOs now a days that are as old. Even among those that are as old and still kicking, player population is at an all time low with maybe a couple hundred, or just a mere 100 online at any one time.
El maestro de las sombras it was because rich people noticed that the poor people (that had terrible lives) were getting happier and more social. @@javiermartinez664 Oh totally. The two bone daddies going at it is something I wanna see too, but Nagash is a bit over the top for me whereas with The Great Pepe, he's more realistic and scaleable to Yggdrasil's leveling system. Mazdamundi at his height could move entire CONTINENTS with his magic just because he felt they were a few inches too far to the left (not joking, he did that). In contrast, Ainz is able to stop time and even slightly bend reality. I think it's entirely realistic to say that Mazdamundi could destroy Nazarik and go toe to toe with Ainz. Not saying he'd win, but damn they'll need to redraw some maps.
@@schaargock Yes! Although I think it would depend on which one. I think a talk between him and someone like Valscreech or maybe even Skrolk or Ikit Claw would be interesting, but I fear some of the others would more annoy Demiurge than interest him. I think I'd love to see a duel between Kroq-Gar and Cocytus. Or even a meeting between Aura and Mare with Malekith.
I would like to point out a funny contradiction. While in makes logical sense to have a no-cost army to control large teritory, it is kind of a trap that all RPG final bosses falls into. Why a party of heroes can defeat the final boss? Because they defeated weaker bosses to improve their skills and get rare equipment and armor. Why they can defeat those bosses? Because they defeated an army of weaker monsters to improve their skills and raise their levels? Why they can defeat those weaker monsters? Because they defeated even weaker monsters to raise their levels and skills. So it is like a ladder made of weak monsters and bosses that leads to defeat of the overlord. I mean, no hero would even win against lv100 final boss if they were all on lv1 and had no enemies to grind on. I suppose in Overlord it wouldn't happen, since adventurers have no save/load option, so once they die and no one revives them, it is over, and they seems to have limits, like their level cap at lv30-50, but if it wasn't the case, then army of mob monsters would be nothing but training dummies for the heros to grow stronger.
There's a flaw in your logic. What Ainz would consider weak undead, others would consider one of the strongest undead. What's more, Assuming there around the same level as said undead, they would need to kill hundreds, maybe even thousands of undead just to go up 1 level. If they defeat even one. They would be put on the danger list.

I thought death Knights were low tier I'm dead and let middle-tier Undead were the creatures like Bone Collector Jack the Reaper or was he called corpse collector I forget
What makes Death Knights useful is their unique skills. First of all, they draw aggro. Second, they can survive any OHKO with one HP. It lets the summoner look at their opponent's skills and figure out how to counter since they'll have to attack the Death Knights at least twice.
the thing about ainz undead army is that they are almost impossible to kill all of them they are simply created faster then human can repopulate they do not require food pay or motovational goals to asemble or peruation to carry out order if the order are not inline to there desires half a king job is to make sure no one usurp him and to question and maintain the loyalty of his kingdom ainz dont have that issue not to mention his army are more powerfull and dont have the populaton growth and feeding issue that comes with maintining a large army
To my understanding it wasnt that Ainz couldn't control the undead at the graveyard. Its that he chose not to, because at that time he was Momonga. A warrior shouldnt be able to control undead. He is super cautious.

are ruler of death a titel in ygdrasil (game) ore are that somting of a clamed title to skary the enemy and working as a nobel titel???!
Seems like a massive mistake: the troops Cocytus led into battle were created by Ainz using Raise Undead to create low level undead (standard zombies/skeletons). The Old Guard is around lvl 30 and would have just grinded the lizardmen into the ground with just a 100 of them.
The old guard aren't actually level 30 since thats death knight level or adamantite class adventurer level
There somewhere between level 15-20, which is just around mythril adventurer level or the level of the lizardman chiefs
@@lordulberthellblaze6509 the death night are level 35 monster. While the guard of naz are from level 15 to 30 with naz master guard been the hight(i.e level 30)
@@lordulberthellblaze6509 Either way, 5000 of them would have easily slaughtered those lizardmen. Thought Old Guard was 30 though and death knight 40 but maybe I'm wrong.
Old guards are level 20, ( mythril rank), elder guards are level 25 (orichalcum rank) and master guards are level 30 seeing as pop monster limit is 30, (adimantite rank). Also keep in mind their personal equipment as well. So it would only take a couple of master guards to destroy all the lizardmen.
In fact, being and Exclusive Necromancer Class have that advantaje to be a army of one Man....or Skeleton
Papa bone daddy is just badass
i love your channel please keep up the good work

Im just gona ask this but when are you gonna review vol 14?
@@danielketley2978 he should have those gauntlets that mare was wearing druing the splash event to not lose the exp i would think
@@danielketley2978 he used it when massacred all those soldiers when he summoned the dark young
could you do a video on the nazarick old guarder?
So what do you think about weeb souls so far ?
So far it's good, but I only had time to play it for a few hours.
Question: If elf were Spawn monster. How would the respawn in the new world? Breeding?
We need a new season
👏
Demiurge:uve been planing this for years master easy rememeber that thing and the other things to. Ainz:uh ye sure tf I hav no clue

great idea :)
@@schaargock but let’s be honest if he arrives here we are f#cked
@@schaargock are you going to do a video like that?
How long after the release of volume 14 do you guys think a pdf English translated version of volume 14 is going to be made? Itd be cool it it was released in English as well at the same time right...
Nice vid as always. But you forgot to mention the mercenary scrolls in the library...
The Mercenary System will get a Video of its own, since they are much more valuable/expensive :)
I wonder how they can solve the gold problem. Yes the gold is like mountain ranges, but its not replenishing at the moment.
Example: 5 lvl Priest and you can summon Angel Frame
The Karma?
Be a Magic Caster?
its not so overpowered in the beginning but given time it could be broken. over a few days not so much of a big deal but given 10 or hundreds of years he could go to every graveyard and tomb in the world and likely revive billions of death knight-lower tier and even multiple high tier undead plus if he manages to rule the entire world instead of burying corpses they could be brought to him for undead creation
monstaaaaers
Nice skeleton warrior.

How ighdrassil online get out businesses?
Maybe the introduction of weapons (guns) live delta, have something to do with it?
12 years for an MMO (even a full virtual immersive one in this case) is a pretty long time. There aren't really many MMOs now a days that are as old. Even among those that are as old and still kicking, player population is at an all time low with maybe a couple hundred, or just a mere 100 online at any one time.
El maestro de las sombras it was because rich people noticed that the poor people (that had terrible lives) were getting happier and more social. They forced the game to be taken down so the people’s moral stays down . That’s what I think I read somewhere in maybe a different way but this is how I remember it
Interesting
So the pop monsters are practically tie fighters to ains being good enough, cheap, low maintenance and in big quantity
what ever happened to the baby goats? Do they just sit around somewhere?
They can only live for a certain amount of time. So they already died

It actually would not be a good idea for a real-world setting.

Fuck, these people dont die when they're killed??

I don't know if you know any Warhammer Fantasy lore, but I would pay money to see a fight between Lord Mazdamundi (arguably the most powerful magic user in that franchise) and Ainz.
What about nagash? Second place?
A talk between any of the lords of decay and demiurge would also be interesting.
Lork Kroak would like to have a word about who is the "most powerful magic user in the franchise".
I think that army is nothing compared in albedo private assassin
What about that magic elder caster who was used in lizard man war
How strong is that
Iguva 41, a normal mithril adventurer team can neat that but he is bufed to almost twice its stats
Are cute goats stay permanently?
No
@@fajaradiputra8545 Why? They summoned with corpses.

Sung Jin-Woo. The true undead sovereign
Him vs ainz who would win??
TheRed Audi Sung Jin-Woo, no questions asked
There's nothing Ainz can do but I do believe he can take second in command of the generals.
As for the guardians? I do believe they are well suited for the royal guard. Under Sung Jin-Woo. They'll be stronger and the game system will no longer have control over them.
This is endgame Sung Jin-Woo tho. At the current chapter? He might have trouble
And Ainz isn't equal for pvp. He's a strategies and a pve-er
Spoilers
At the end of the novel he's the god of death. With an immortal army of 100 million strong.
Three general Marshall's
@@TheRockK95 how strong are the foot soldiers? Are the A class or stronger?
TheRed Audi It's hard to rank Letters into numbers but all of Ainz's guardians would be ranked above S.
all devices in Solo Leveling rank Hunters by their magical ability. Anything above A is unclassified and be ranked as S.
Sung Jin-Woo's strongest summon is a former Angel. That defeated Burr the Ant King easily. An ant that was born for the sole purpose of power. That grows stronger whenever he eats someone strong.
Not to mention theses summons can never die. Never rest and are 100% loyal to Sung Jin-woo
From the light novel. Every shadow summon that's able to talk. Express themselves as wing while and filled with happiness just for serving their master. Like it was born for them.
So yea, endgame Sung Jin-woo can easily take on Ainz
@@TheRockK95 I mean my argument is that ainz could stop time and get close and use true death or the goal of all life is death but for the goal of all life is death he'd have to get close and that's disadvantageous for him so mu question is does jin-woo have a revive skill or something?
I thought death Knights were low tier I'm dead and let middle-tier Undead were the creatures like Bone Collector Jack the Reaper or was he called corpse collector I forget
They were the same tier but the death knights had only the attack power of a lv 25 so they're quite weak compared to other mid tier undeads
They weren't anything to laugh at but they also weren't anything to fear either. They were pretty middle of the road enemies
Waifu material
Too many commercials to subscribe
To my understanding it wasnt that Ainz couldn't control the undead at the graveyard. Its that he chose not to, because at that time he was Momonga. A warrior shouldnt be able to control undead. He is super cautious.
I agree. I think he would have needed to cast some version of control undead, probably a spell, meaning he would have to exit his persona to do so. Which would ruin the whole reason he was there in the first place.
