I was doing my Vehicle Mechanics course at Bordon Camp and saw Dame Vera Lynn Steaming . It was a long time ago but The Longmoor Railway memories are not forgotten.
I'm so glad she's on the long track back to service, along with 34101 and 80135. I have fond memories of all 3 back in the 90s and early 00s. The first time on the NYMR I can remember, we had 3672 haul the train and it was mostly blue/grey Mk1s. 😁😊 Happy days.
North Yorkshire Moors Railway in North Yorkshire I said how about if you build level crossings and railway bridges so that the trains on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in North Yorkshire can run from Pickering station to Malton station

The NYMR doesn’t want or need any more lines. Literally the only time to do this was in 1970. It would cost billions to do it now, any many land owners would t sell anyway. Original heritage line founders in the 70s, said it was only feasible to buy a line that still had half the track and facilities, otherwise it was infeasible.
