Alan I am a Bourbon cask lover and I adore this Kilkerran expression! I have 2 bottles and it's spectacular!! I am all about Bourbon and Peat these days!! I can't say enough about this fabulous beauty! NAS scotch whisky is often a huge hit for me! Kilkerran is my favourite Campbelltown scotch!! No question at all!! Peat, so delicious, sweetness, meats - so damn good! The coastal maritime peat grabs me in - in a massive way! Gorgeous colour! Oily and sublime!! My score is a 90/100 but we are close my friend!! I bought a bottle of this and the twelve cos Iove Kilkerrans, this immediately became my favourite and even though it ain’t cheap in Aus I’ve grabbed another two.
Hello Alan, how does the batch 10 compare to the batch 9? Which of these two is sweeter and less ashy? I don't see a review anywhere comparing these two adjacent batches.
As of now (Sept 10th) you are perhaps the first video reviewer of Batch 10. Kudos to you if it helps people nab a bottle before they sell out. I just bought a bottle of this online to pair up with a Batch 9 lottery win last year. You may be on to something about changes in the air because I thought it odd that the store I bought mine from still had five bottles on the "shelf".

Thanks for this great review! Have to add though.. your microphone is quite bad. Not only the sound, but there's also the problem of delay, it takes some noise to activate when you start talking

This was my first batch of this stuff, one of the best values out there at $50.
I have the batch 8, it’s fantastic stuff. Sounds like the batch 10 is another winner. Hats off to Kilkerran 👏
