i always see everyone say this and i’m a big fan of all their albums but haven’t rly delved into their lore.. could you explain to me why everyone says they are the best and most important?
Well it's just my opinion, but their lyrics are really relevant and they play better than most punk bands. They're real and mean what they say. No hypocrisy. No sugar coated bullshit.
Absolutely brillant lyrics, and musically superior to pretty much all the others of their genre. This is the one band from my teens I'll still be listening to when I'm 70. Pitty Beaver left, he added an extra layer that is now completely missing again.
Because(as a 30 year fan of the band) they've stated a position and have reportedly lived and built upon that position. They are a punk rock band and lived by their stated beliefs
@@Lapp3r30 Because he is punk and it's about doing a lot with a little. But adding the beave to the lineup was the best move they ever made. Unless you count replacing Chris Hannah with Glenn Lambert.
Glad you enjoyed it, Ruben. Propagandhi have been around since the mid 90's. They were a fairly ordinary punk outfit at first. Then a lineup change brought in Todd, and things got much heavier. The then Beaver got in there and they became much more progressive. Supporting Caste and Failed States are my favorites from them, but I've got them all.
Enjoyed it...I heard a lot of Rush drumming in this, as well as parts of the song similar to “The Necromancer” by Rush! Not in exact sound, but in execution and composition?..Am I crazy?
For tracks like this one I got nothing but time man! I'm not planning to stop listening to the music and peoples opinion on it. At least not anytime soon... probably never. So yeah, keep'em coming! I'm gonna listen till I can't. \m/
I'd recommend listening to way more Propagandhi before coming to a conclusion. It's tough to critique a band based on 1 song. Propagandhi are very talented song writers and extremely intelligent individuals.
Could you react to Paragon's song called Deathlines? It's a really great heavy Acceptish song with an amazing guitar solo section, i think you'll enjoy it. Hope you can react to it :)
As a 20-year fan of this band, this is not a good introduction to Propagandhi, even though it is a good song. Most of their songs don't sound like this. I mostly recommend their albums "Less Talk, More Rock" and "Supporting Caste." The latter is a much more modern in sound.
One of the most important punk bands ever

LIsten to all Propagandhi! They have been excellent since the 90's and have gotten better with every album.
They get heavier with every album too
Maturity... Sulynn has brought a lot to the band. Chris was against a second guitar for a long time... Lord knows why... Ohhh.. He matured! lol
eh.. their latest two albums have been meh. They peaked with potemkin and supporting caste.

Only band I've listened to from that era of 90s punk that has gotten better as time has gone on. Everything they do blows my mind.
Late 80’s
@@jotaeme83 Well, How to Clean Everything came out in '93.
Supporting Caste - Propagandhi
Propagandhi’s lyrics are amazing
Omg it's so great to finally see someone react to this band... you should check out "supporting caste" or "a speculative fiction"
supporting caste and potemkin are the best albums
@@stevebanning902 imo potemkin is the best punkrock album ever made
Got this song on the playlist in my car. And now you listen to it. Awesome 😀

You are not crazy, they are big Rush fans, and their sound over the years gets more and more progressive.
naw, you're crazy. seek help.
Reading the lyrics while listening to propagandhi is necessary and honestly beneficial
check out supporting cast and failed states and if you dont mind pull the lyrics up - they're definitely worth it
Thought that was pretty good. Interested to check out the whole album.
Real reaction video, just listning and the reaction is clear and the talk comes afterwords
One of Canada's little known gems. Propagandhi and NOFX are my top two fave bands
Pretty unique sound. I liked it.

every song song, from how to clean to eveything to now is... good. better than good.
Victory lap gets me going...but let's face it, they all get me going! Quite a feat for a 75 yr. old woman, lol.
Is there another proggressive hardcore punk band out there. Love the style thanks to this guys
Yes, try Malvina - Hybrid War
check out A Wilhelm Scream. i think Propagandhi is better, but they have some similarities in style.
Protest The Hero.
Genius propagandhi

rubenn please react VITALISM - REMATEN !!!! too much insane
What an incredibly boring review of an amazing song.
This is probably what dream theater sounded like when they were 11 years old
In that case they shouldn't have grown up.
I guess you are 11 years old.
