Hi, thank you so much for this video ! Where is the video you’re talking about at 2:55 ? I really want to see how to do this sort of pagination before to buy Adobe. Thank you so much !
Hi Loïc, I just uploaded a brand new version of this tutorial for you! There have been a lot of changes to Acrobat Pro since I created this tutorial and the layout is quite a bit different. You will find the video for facing pages right here th-cam.com/video/lz-WLWdL0SQ/w-d-xo.html
I want to paginate slides on the outsides- I am printing front to back. Is there a tutorial like that. You mentioned it would be uploaded but I couldn't find it. Thanks!
You still would use the header/footer tool, you just need to adjust the margins so that the page number lands where you want it to. I would start with a bottom/right footer page number with a left margin of around 4.25" and see how close that gets you. Then adjust the bottom and left margins till the numbers fall into place. Hope that helps. You could always export a single page from your document and send it to me at audiowarrior@yahoo.com and I can "show you" how to get the settings right. :)
Andrew Breault, thanks for your video. I need the assistance how to insert ROMAN page numbers in Adobe Acarobat xi pro. still facing the problems in that help me plese.
@@AndrewBreault good morning Andrew thanks for your reply. I'm also trying in so many sources. One software plugin called pdf pagenumberer 3 - ie trackon pdf plugins they charged 77.89USD. I tried in their website but how for its worth.
You can also do Roman Numeral page numbering right in Microsoft Word. Not sure if that is an option for you but there are a few videos on TH-cam that show how to do this. This one here is really good th-cam.com/video/XQTKWOxE9q8/w-d-xo.html

+Coach Andrew Breault thank you for such a fast reply I did figure out my current project but it already had chapters and page number they were just located off the page and I had to drag them up but if you do figure this out it will be awesome I will subscribe just because of your fast reply
Did you manually add the page number in the header/footer or did you use the “insert page number” button? Are you trying to paginate the entire document or just one or a few pages?
Ok. It will be easier to help if I can see your screen and each step as you do it. Are you open to a Zoom Support call where you can share your screen with me and show me your process?
Andrew, I have to paginate a monster 500 page NIH grant. Is there a way to do this without using header/footer? Federal PHS398 grant pages have a section at the bottom center of each page that says "Page ___". it would be awesome if you could auto paginate the document directly on that line.
Excellent explanation; especially about how to skip pages before starting numbering. Thanks very much!
Very helpful. Thanks a lot.
You are very welcome! Thanks for watching ❤️

Hi, there.
This process made all of the pages have the same number. Help!
Did you manually add the page number in the header/footer or did you use the “insert page number” button? Are you trying to paginate the entire document or just one or a few pages?
Yes, I used the insert page number button. I am attempting to paginate my manuscript. I've been at this for a day.
