    I have been binge-watching your PDF videos today. I need to create a PDF and want to take out some properties such as the desktop creation location that shows the name of my computer. Is that possible? I am still using the free version for now until I get these tutorials down, but will be purchasing the DC pro version when ready. Thanks for your help.

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for watching! Can you provide a bit more information about where the name of your desktop is appearing? Is it in the metadata under File > Properties?

      @@erinwrightwriting Yes. Thanks for your help!

    • @erinwrightwriting
      @erinwrightwriting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RockyTuxedoFBI I don't think Acrobat provides a way to pinpoint just the desktop name. However, Acrobat DC will let you remove all user data by going to File > Save as Other > Optimize PDF > and then check "Discard User Data." Then, follow your normal saving process to save the optimized PDF. Another option may be to go to File > Properties > Additional Metadata to see if you can identify how that information is being inserted. Best of luck!

      Thank you for watching my video. Unfortunately, there is currently no built-in method for converting page numbers to roman numerals in Acrobat. This has been an on-going "bug" since at least 2017, as shown in this thread: acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/18813151-roman-numerals-page-labels-in-headers.
