Im glad down south is getting snow this year, its good for the ground water, the lakes and streams. The snow when it begins to melt will soak straight down the tree roots and control the mosquitoe population later in the spring.
Former midwesterner here. Have been in Atlanta for 33 years. A "dusting" here paralyzes the metro for a day. Everything closes. Good thing, because people don't know how to drive in this stuff, and the roads are winding and hilly. That doesn't help. I will say that they're doing a better job of salting and plowing than they did when I first moved here. Google "snowpocalypse".
This year Georgia snow amazing.
Atlanta Georgia had trouble with an ice storm during their first Super Bowl. I was there working.

People in the comments speaking like the southern states should be used to dealing with snow lolol.. "that's nothing. "... "A snow plow??"...lolololol
I got to see it before it changed over in Gwinnett.
Never in my imagination that America southern states will get any cold or snow
The American South has always gotten cold and snow; just not as often ; but they've always got it occasionally.

Religious ignorants will continue to deny reality.
You should be the one to talk. Religious people know about the change of seasons. So. That was a swing and a miss.
