actually I think you dont need to add your IP in the build files manually. PX4 SITL automatically routes a mavlink stream on port 18570, so with no more steps , you can connect using QGC on windows on UDP port 18570 (or if you need more percice advacned control you can use mavlink router)
and about the jmavsim , usually the problem happens for user is JDK not being instaleld or unsupported version ...
