This is a great design for how a railroad should be placed for efficiency. Unfortunately in the real US, Cities and residential suburbs were built surrounding the railroads, thus they have alot of railroad crossings with speed restrictions, and many train vehicle collisions. Los Angeles and its suburbs are a prime example of this.

I dream of seeing a new version of Cities Skylines. This is something similar to GTA 5, inside Cities Skylines.. It's like 2 in one bottle, where you can develop and build a magnificent city, with developed infrastructure, transport links, skyscrapers, business centers, beautiful landscapes, green valleys, factories, roads, country houses and so on.
Everything goes according to your plan, you build and develop your city, you are the chief architect and part of the town hall of your city.. but one day, you can just flip a switch and you're part of this city. You are a resident of this city. You can come to your home, you can visit the headquarters in a high skyscraper, visit your office, drawings, cranes and construction sites.
Get out on the bustling streets of the city, just use the car, public bus, or train and railway that you once built and paved.. You can see streets filled with people, tall buildings, parks and city noise.. It looks as great as day, night and during sunset. This is your city and you are part of it. This should be used as an incentive for construction.. pure, noble deeds and the faith of your city in the future and its well-being.The magnificent setting of the city and awesome music.
You should also remember that the switch is always with you, you can always return to the sandbox mode to continue building the city. Then again and again become a part of the city, when you want it... It all starts small.. it all starts with a sandbox, it all starts with a small piece of land...
