I cut the inside rear arch lip off, and panel bonded the two skins together like the csl never rubbed again.
With the m3 rubbing, from my none m3 with mpars on the rear, it was rubbing on the rear bumper bracket, which can be removed and cable ties used to fit, and the arches are filled inside the arch lip with rubber so the usual method is to just but the lips in half and if more clearance than that is needed roll the remaining lip, but I got away without doing that.

I have a physics degree and I know next to nothing about ceramic coating. Astro being space and large scale is probably the least relevant area, condensed matter, chemical physics or something a bit closer I suppose. You'd want a chemist really.

The Black M3 looks so good with those rims. I cannot help but feel like a blue M3 is being ruined here. You could just get a raggy shell and drop an engine in it if you want a light racer. But you seem to enjoy yourself so more power to you :D Very entertaining either way.

member the rear arches on e46 are U shaped instead of a normal L shape like in other cars. you should first get the sealer or whatever it is called from inside the u and then roll it.

Dan probably worth trying next time you have the coilovers off but seen a lot of people melting a blue crayon into the threads off stuff apparently helps?

@@dannyDC2 Wax... heat the lower section and the wax will migrate toward the heat and lubricate the threads. Old s'cool trick.
