- In this video for Race Week 2.0, you guys will see the longest drive of the event on Day 3. The drive was fairly uneventful which is surprising because you would think thats where a lot of racers would break. The next day, day 4, was where the real carnage began. SO many people having catastrophic issues. Many issues putting racers out of competition. Wheels snapping off, drive shafts exploding, turbos going out, engines exploding, etc. You never know whats going to happen on a drag and drive!

That is not an Apache helicopter. That's a brother to the Bell Huey helicopter. That is a Bell Cobra, which I believe is still in use with the Marines in a much more updated model!

Fred is a good ass guy. I’m sure we all wanted to know what was under the hood of that red elco but once Fred asked that man sucked those tears right back up and was so happy to show the build to you guys. I get his pain, my father also had an elco that was blue with a silver pin stripe.

With as big of a crew as they got at these events it’s a shame we don’t see more cars in the pits or info on some of them.
I agree. The only way to see the other cars, is if they accidentally film the car in the other lane. Following the same 10 cars at every stop sucks. I like 1320 Video, but damn.

A GMC "Gentleman Jim". Now that takes me back to my high school days. My buddy's dad owned the local Pontiac/GMC dealership and he drove one of those as a demonstrator.

The HRPT is bad ass. Granted i did it in 2010, but all the long haulers got to get onto the USS Alabama in Mobile for the group photo. This is next on my list as well

A lot of old school members will remember the burnout Cleetus did in 2020, but I think the turbo diesel truck Now has the best burnout with a trailer on Raceweek. Thanks again guys you are awesome with a capital A. see you when We see You.

There was a two-ton white/brown short box chevy diesel that laid down an awesome trailer burnout a few years ago. I'd be hard pressed to declare a winner between them and the guy today. At any rate, both were awesome!

Its sad to say when im jealous of the gas prices there lol. Im 42 and when i got my license at 16 1/2 gas prices here in Massachusetts was only $.89 cents a gallon and now it'd be nice to find it for less than $3.00 around here lol.

My dad used to take us to State Capital drag strip when we were kids . They used to run top fuel and jet cars there back in the day . Even had pieces of a wrecked jet car . I’ve made a few passes down that strip in my brothers old GTA Trans Am in the late 90s early 2000s . 12-13 sec car once he put the nitrous on it.
That g body with the green flames used to be my dads car, he owns a body shop out of Billings MT. painted all of it himself and decided to sell it to buy me and my sister jr dragsters. So wild to see on this page.

Some of my dad's most prized possessions is the 7 or 8 8x10 black and white photographs that people like yall whom traveled to rodeos in the 70s and took pictures to sell of bull riders and inevitably the rodeo clowns trying to help the bull riders when they needed it. Most of the time the only person that bought the pictures were the rider or clowns in the photos. But I've been to smaller old bars and seen pictures of my dad riding and fighting bulls on the walls, that he doesn't own. I took him to everyone so he can see them too.

Outstanding work Fred and crew ,i wondered why i didnt see Taylor ,Goldstone ,Schraeder and the rest of the elite ,even though theyre off somewhere else i still think that this is just the most awesome week ,so good to mix it up with other competitors/warriors ,more of them please more of the battlers as sometimes i feel ive seen enough of the Canadian who drove 500000000 thousand miles and the lil kid who was changing camshafts in hes diapers alongside hes dad ,theres other competitors and good to see 1320 shine a light on them too
The known D'n'D racers are going to be spread when there are two big events in the same week. But who knows if there will be any future Hot Rod Drag Weeks, with how Motortrend seen to be going down hill.
What sucks is that I live right down from Ennis. Next year I want to watch.

Why does 1320 video hate 2004-2006 GTOs? They always seem to turn the camera away from them or never film them on the track. They are at these events!
