I don't belive in ghosts or haunted places... But I am nervous about going back at night... Should I go back tonight? And should I try to get into the cellar? 😮
I've wanted to go in but the lights r usually on do they have cameras in use I heard in the cellar there is a old tunnel system idk if it's true but yeah I'd like to know if you can get in an explore I've wanted to for ages.
The hotel was built in 1861 and was originally named The Terminus Hotel and was later known as The Club Hotel before taking on the name of the Imperial Hotel which still remains. The Imperial hotel was sold in Sept 2014 and the building and surrounding gardens are slowly degrading since being closed permanently in 2014. The pub in town (Picton) purchased it to stop any competition plus the additional pokie licenses, this widely known by the locals. It is a shame as it is heritage listed and nothing will get done and there goes another piece of history. The wooden building on the other side of the driveway was used as the bottle shop. You would find on a Friday and sat night there would be bands and musicians, etc playing, it used to be great place also for food.
Thanks Cheryl😁 I remember visiting it when I lived in Picton. So I was surprised to see it closed. I agree. It's a shame it is being allowed to fall into disrepair. The more people who are aware of it the better chance it will survive!
Absolutely loved the Impy . It was my watering hole. It’s such a shame it was let go like this!! And yes it’s haunted.!! One lady liked to hang in the bathroom and scare the sh.t out of you in the mirror!!

Yes. It's terrible. But I felt I was being watched while I was there... Maybe someone is looking over it.
