Hi! I live in Sydney, Australia and I will be highlighting different areas in Sydney, and around Sydney, with mainly scenic videos.
Looking for something a little different? I plan to show you places locals know about but aren't commonly shown by your mainstream channels.
Take advantage of my local knowledge. Especially if you plan to visit!
I was born and raised here (born in Crown St Hospital, South Sydney), and I am re-discovering, and exploring new areas.
I don't plan to talk a lot but you may hear my Australian accent sometimes!
I'll probably mainly be saying: "Wow... hasn't that changed a lot since I was here last."
If you like my videos please hit the like button and subscribe! And please comment too. Happy to answer questions.
Thanks for visiting.

Hidden bushwalks near Sydney The locals don't want you to find them! Savilles Creek Grays Point

Hidden bushwalks near Sydney. A secluded creek in Grays Point on the edge of Sydney. Called Savilles Creek. Very peaceful and no one was around. This is one of a new group of videos I plan to complete. Savilles Creek near Gymea Bay is on the edge of the Royal National Park which in turn is on the Southern edge of Sydney in NSW Australia. I entered the area from Hovea Place, Grays Point. There i...

Harrington Lake is a oasis in Sydney. If you are visiting Camden it's a lovely place to stop and say hello to the water birds. The coloured smoke was for effect for a stills photo shoot I stumbled across.

Historic building, St James church in Menangle NSW Australia near Camden NSW Australia. . Built on top of the most prominent hill in the area the first stage (the nave) was completed in 1876 with the chancel and unique steeple being added in 1898. There's even bell ringing practice every week! Menangle is still very much a rural setting but new estates are rapidly encroaching on the country fee...

Drive through Camden NSW A great day trip from Sydney.

Camden is a beautiful, historic area on the edge of Sydney. perfect for a day trip from Sydney or surrounding areas. I will do more drives in the area because it really is so different from other parts of Sydney. Camden was established in 1840 as a town it is where Australia's wealth originated. John MacArthur was instrumental is this growth but the town of Camden wasn't started until after his...
Car accident waiting to happen. Driver is impatient Let me know what you think! No sound on video

An accident is always possible of course. Often due to impatience. Driving near Sydney can be dangerous. But why do some drivers insist on making a normal situation dangerous? This is a classic situation where no time was saved at all!!! No sound on video.

Absolutely loved the Impy . It was my watering hole. It’s such a shame it was let go like this!! And yes it’s haunted.!! One lady liked to hang in the bathroom and scare the sh.t out of you in the mirror!!
Thanks heaps for that info! Love it! I believe you too. I haven't been back at night yet... Spooky at night😕

Thank you!😀 I know the clarity wasn't perfect. What did you think?
Nice old building left to rott disgraceful
Yes. It's terrible. But I felt I was being watched while I was there... Maybe someone is looking over it.
This is a 360 degree/VR video shot in 6K. Make sure to increase your video quality setting to the highest possible (usually 4K). You can move your mouse or turn the phone screen to move the video in any direction. One of my early attempts at a 360 degree video: th-cam.com/video/GtZ1v9GyDMI/w-d-xo.html

Thank you very much for the wonderful video.🤩🥰🙏
A great pleasure to provide this for you 😁😁
Great video for travelers around the cute and pleasant town of Camden!🤩🥰I'll definitely stop by when I'm in Australia. Thanks for the info!😊
I'm very happy you like it 😊 ☺️
I'm with you! Why try to dive down the inside? And then turn off straight away!!!
We will never know....
These type of videos of mine end up generating different points of view. Some correct... some not so.... This video is going to generate the most arguments I think. Let me tell you my side first. I wasn't slow going around the roundabout. I saw the ute approaching from behind and guessed he would want to go around me. But why should I meekly give an aggressive driver what he wants? But I still let him in safely. There is no sound but I didn't blow my horn, or swear at him. I've been around too long to get upset at other drivers. I'm looking forward to seeing what people say in the comments!! 😀
Very nice to see the kangaroos! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
It was a great road to race bikes in the early seventies.
Wow... I had no idea! It would be great to see. Thanks for the input
I did this drive about a year ago
Picton is a lovely area!
@@gdvdigital6534 l do like to take my 1997 Toyota Hilux for drives around the Picton area on week days just like to get out and about in my 1997 Toyota Hilux
Thanks for commenting on the Jamberoo video too.
I really enjoined you driving down Mount Jabaroo as l am retired l do like going on a drive in my 1997 Toyota Hilux and l have been planning to do this drive for a while now l have to do it but that 4X4 SUV with a caravan found out the reason you don't take are caravan down Mt Jambaroo because l could see the smoke from the disc pads
Thank you! Most of the roads around Fitzroy Falls and Robertson are good. And usually quiet too. Yeah... the caravan driver really didn't think about his route did he?
@@gdvdigital6534 Actually l haven't been down that way for many years but l do live in the Campbelltown area so betting there doesn't take long to get there
Thanks for commenting on the Picton video too.
Where is it?
Hi. This is just South of Macquarie Pass. If you drive towards the coast from Robertson there is a turn off to the right. Or, head to the small town of Jamberoo. To get to Jamberoo come inland from Kiama. Enjoy!
When is this day?
Hi. It was 6 September 2024
Have you a great holiday 😊❤
😁😁
Very beautiful view with such azure water color🤩😍
The colour is amazing!
...from a locals perspective...as I'm local to this area. Just a TYPICAL "left lane hogger" local, most likely driving to his fav fishing spot. He is so used to driving along that left lane, towards his. ramp off. He's just to lazy to get out and pass people in the right lane, he things the "left" lane of this Hwy is HIS road lane. As you were "in his way" to his fishing spot, he out of the blue tried to follow you, with your legal overtake, but as this was all happening to close to his bloody turn/ramp off, he immediately had to "hog" back into his left lane, showing a total disregard to you the car in front (you), doing a perfectly legal Hwy pass, the correct and safe way.The worst sort of driving...
Thanks Mac!😀 Yes, he was lazy, inconsiderate, dangerous, stupid! How else should we describe him?😇 Did you see some of the other comments? I should be asleep.. Thanks for contributing!
I remember when it was dirt. Corrugations on the bends were fun. Just trying to figure out where I stuck my car into the left hand side in the middle of the night.
You're kidding Mick! Dirt! No way! Rather you than me... Water on the road must have caused havoc. Did you find your spot? Thanks heaps for contributing 😃
Keep looking and you will begin to see more and more Kangaroos! Their fur blends in very well with the surrounding grass and bushes.
A great spot, been there a few times. Gives you a great perspective on those highway bridges!
Thanks Neil! Yes, it's nice and different. Those bridges are huge!
Thanks for that. Used to go down to Bombo beach via Jamberoo occasionally. Not to swim, but to wander around the nearby quarry - which is fantastic when there is a bit of a swell. I don't know whether you're old enough to remember Aunty Jack, but Bombo quarry is where she rode the motorbike during the credits. EDIT: I've just checked your other videos and you know all about the quarry! Cheers,
Wow... Aunty Jack! Yes, I'm old enough! Ha ha. Don't remember the bike though... The quarry is amazing.. Glad you enjoyed the video. And glad you found the video about the waves at the quarry! If you grew up in the 'Gong I have plans for other videos.. I was exploring the cliff above Sea Cliff Bridge yesterday. Found some very interesting stone work... I can see myself doing a lot about the mines .. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone for watching! If you have the time could you please hit the subscribe button too? It would really hep me out and also allow me to spend more time making videos for you.😃😃 Thanks!
Nice one. I think the waterfall track into Coffs is a good run too! If you don't mind single lane sections! Caravans? Nuff said. Long time ago I was forced to get a truck license because my trailer was over a ton! There was talk at the time of forcing caravan drivers to get an extra license! Of course due to a lot of screaming that never happened.
Thanks! I agree about the Waterfall track. Great road😃 I reckon going up is better than going down. What do you think? They should have forced caravan owners to upgrade their licence. Totally agree with you!
@@gdvdigital6534 Had to think about that one, up or down? Probably going up is a better drive as it's a little less stressful! Going down, better views? Maybe. Yes they should be required to do specific training and testing. Some of these rigs are like small semis!
I prefer driving up too. You can really attack the corners! Macquarie Pass is good for that. But not Bulli Pass! And think of the age you're allowed to tow a caravan???
Thank you very much for wonderful voice!!🥰🤩
My pleasure!😁😁
The street lights and headlights look very cozy against the fog.🤩👋
Your comments are always appreciated 😍
Such a cute little chick!❤
I was very lucky to see it. It's very small😊
Now get closer...

Bit of a worry that you would lose GPS signal so close to the top.
Yeah😁 I'm using Woolworths as a mobile provider and their service is definitely a downgraded version of Telstra. But $30 a month is worth the occasional dropout.😁
Just a few trees in the way there I guess
😁
Didn't show Mt Razorback🤷♂️
Hi Damien. You're correct of course. But it was too sketchy to mount the camera while I was descending Mt Razorback. I have an earlier video of the drive down though. But without the fog. Sorry if the original title mislead you. My only excuse is that I was too quick deciding on the title. I'll change it.
I remember about 5 or 6 years ago my breaks overheated in My FG Falcon with 5 of us in the car coming down there it was quite scary but i managed to pull her up and wait until they cooled off then got back on the road.
Hi Johnny. Not a good feeling .... Glad you're okay. Do you still have the car?
@@gdvdigital6534 Yes stilll have it and time for an uprgrade to a new car

Love this bit of road. Would make an awesome course for a hill sprint competition.
What a great idea! Love it! Have you seen the one on the Sunshine Coast? Behind Noosa. It's blocked off most of the time. Open once a year I think.
