I don't have a map of the exact route, but these are the trails we followed: 1. Start at Summit Peak Observation Tower Parking 2. Left onto Beaver Creek Trail 3. Left onto Little Carp River Trail 4. Right onto Superior Trail 5. Left - Road walk to Lake of the Clouds 6. Follow North Mirror Lake Trail 7. Left onto South Mirror Lake Trail 8. Right onto Summit Peak Trail 9. End at Summit Peak Observation Tower Parking I hope that helps!
You need to get State Park admission which was $30 if I remember correctly, parking was free, and we paid per site that we stayed at (I think $7-$12 a site but I can’t really remember). There are a variety of trails that you need to follow and back country sites you have to stay at.
Any link to the map or route you took I would love to do this trip in the summer I’ve only snowboarded the porcupine mountains years ago

@@majrcook4086 It’s a great trip! I’m sure you will love it
I loved hiking up there. An early winter camp was awesome.
I’d love to try that sometime
Love the porkies, did three days in "22" it was amazing...
It’s a great place!
Did it cost anything to camp or for parking? And is there a certain path that you followed?

@AlexHatlevig so did you have to reserve the sites ahead of time or just pay for just site usage then hike to any site?
Great video! Which site were you in 2nd night? I'm planning my 2nd trip there for this Aug.
Thanks! I can’t remember exactly what site number but I think it was the Western most site on Lake Superior
What time of year did you hike the 29 miles in the Porcupine Mountains?
This was in late August of 2023
