I'm looking for a corne keyboard. I typically just source the parts and build it myself. This video is so well done and I want to support so I'll order my corn from your shop instead. Well done. Keep up the quality of your work pls.
Hi Josean, like your videos a lot. I mentioned that your key layout changed with time. Could you please make a more detailed video about that? It would be interesting to learn how you use them now and what you find to be the best keyboard layout. Thanks
I recently just ordered my first split keyboard from a community member of mine. He is a Software Engineer at Statamic and runs a side hustle called 1337 Keyboards. I am excited and also will be looking at your keyboard offerings as well for my birthday next year in April ;)
Love my corne but I guess I will stick to v3 since it has wireless. I dont trust myself with not accidentally disconnecting TRRS lmao. skill issue i know.
As a user of the corne v4, I have to say the expanded memory availability is a game changer. On top of five full layers, I have about fifteen macros and 30 combo settings in addition to 15 tap dance keys which allow me to mostly not even have to use the layers. I have a number layer, and a layer which I use for brackets, mostly on the home row - and everything else I mostly have combos for. I'm never turning back.
I'm loving my corne from your shop! Amazing!!!! One quick question: could you make a video or tutorial on how to use the default QMK software to flash this keyboard, and how to get back to vial if we come to regret it? =) I'm loving the simplicity of Vial, but sometimes I feel like I could do more with QMC .c files... (BTW: complete QMK noob here, although I'm a software developer)
@@DanielRoma Thanks Daniel! So happy to hear you love it! I can look into possibly doing a video about it, I haven’t used QMK with a RP2040 microcontroller yet. Flashing it with vial is pretty easy though, you typically just need to have the firmware file from the corne github, connect one of the halves, press on the reset button while holding the boot button on the bottom of the pcb and then drag the file onto the corne which should show up in your file explorer.
@ oh, so I need to disassemble it? Got it! Thanks! I’ll try the qmk a little bit then. I already found out how to setup the 4 extra buttons on the .c files, which is not on the readme! lol
“Great content as always!👏 I was wondering if you could consider adding shipping options to Mexico. I’m sure many fans here would love to support and enjoy your products. Thank you for all your amazing work!”
Awesome, just ordered one ;) With the default vial UI you can't configure stuff like the rgbs or the screens right? Would be awesome if there's a video about compiling your own vial-qmk and configuring stuff like this in the future :)
There is a choc variant for the Corne v4 but it isn’t currently available on the shop. I will look into adding this option as well as I continue to grow the shop and source the necessary components.
im confused as to why we cannot connect the audio jack cable with the powercable connected? i suppose it has something to do with short circuits and voltage jumps but i have the corne v3 with the helios rp2040 and it works fine for me

@@adrianthomas4163 Thank you so much!
Just adding a comment now on the proper video to increase the engagement: awesome stuff! Just ordered mine!
Thank you so much Daniel!

perfect holiday gift!
I try to place a order. Get msg "this store can not accept real payment..".
Just fixed it, thanks for letting me know!
Just ordered my keyboard using the 3D builder and keycaps off FK last night! Can’t wait
@@almazingsk8er Awesome!! Happy to hear that!

Wireless version please. Great video.
Great video. Thanks for sharing it. Would you take a look at the Svalboard? The guy building it may send you a review unit if you ask him.

Neat!! Can you make a video on how to configure Yazi? I've been seeing a lot of videos about it recently
@@MLTech0322 I’ve been thinking about doing a video on terminal file managers. Yazi looks interesting, will definitely look into it!

Why no 5x3 case? I dont like the 6 columns
😊
Will definitely look into adding this option!
Will you start delivering to Lebanon anytime soon? If not, any idea if any website ships to Lebanon? I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything
i don't see wireless one on your website. are they deliverable to India?
how do you map a key to hyper in Vial?

Sounds good! You can’t tweak the screens but you can set up keys to toggle through rgb modes and setup brightness levels, etc…
Can this PCB support Kailh Choc low-profile switches, or is it only for MX-style switches?

It might work fine, but it’s always a risk to do this with most wired split keyboards, so it’s best to avoid this.
No wireless option for this build?
Unfortunately because of how the microcontrollers are integrated into the pcb it is currently not possible to make it wireless.
No shipping to South America :(
