I did make this video a little bit shorter so it would fit into a TH-cam short. A lot of the specifications that she has I use them my own chair. I don’t have the exact model thar she has but we do have the same company which is TiLite.com this company is known for making their wheelchairs with titanium, which is stronger and lighter then other metals used for wheelchairs. Like and subscribe for more. The original video can be found with the following link www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLskULYk/
I wish the company that I got my chair from had offered natural fit rims from the beginning; I've gone so long without them being an option and finally just ordered them on my own for my current chair. Next chair I'm telling them to put them on from the start because I can't go back to basic rims now. Additionally, I'll be upgrading to titanium instead of aluminum.
If your back is gonna bracket onto the frame be sure to not crank them down when you or someone else is adjusting… My wife has a custom titanium and she’s rough on it due to the spawn being in sports so I crank that bad boy down and I’ve deformed the top canes… Just an fyi, have a good one boss!
@@SpitNchiclets I usually have professionals fit the chair, to begin with, so, they know what they're doing, I had a family friend who is a professional builder, so they didn't overtighten the screws, help with putting the new rims on....the only people I let adjust the seatback position, or anything else on the frame of the chair, are the people I bought the chair from.
I love the rainbow spokes! My sister is an ambulatory wheelchair user too. I’m an artist so I designed some sparkly galaxy spoke guards for her chair and it makes it so much easier to find her in a crowd
The aero Z is my dream chair. Couldn't afford it so, I went with a Karman Ergonomic 305 chair. Only downside is that the foot rest isn't a solid piece, it's L/R pieces
I need to take mine to get fixed. It's a 2nd hand one, good condition: except one of the foot rests is missing a bolt so it won't stay in place (swings around). I am 28 days post left foot surgery, waiting on date for the right foot one. May need more mobility surgery in the future. I can walk some days for 30 minutes to 2hr max before i am in a lot of pain. Some days , i can only get around the house. My right foot that still needs doing is prone to sprains, making me trip and pain when walking some days. Going to my grandparents this weekend for over 2 weeks: i'm taking my crutches but not my chair as my family say i don't need it because i can walk somewhat. Using the chair would "make you look lazy " or " pretending to be more disabled than you are". More my elder sister but my mum does think the same to an extend. I get it as i do need to walk more to improve how my foot works (reconstruction and double fusion due to deformity & artheritis in both ankles). Heyho. One of the things was mentioned though was possibility of non-union, infection (10%) & amputation (1%). If i waited another 10 years i could of and might still be in a wheelchair by my late 30s. I'm 27. Still have good weeks and bad. Xx
I haven’t seen you before. You mentioned MCAS and dislocations in the same sentence, and you use a chair. I’m guessing you’ve got MCAS/EDS/POTS, just like me!
It looks great! I’m praying my insurance will come through and I will be getting my custom chair in a couple of months. Edit: Immediately after posting this I got a call from my provider saying everything is approved! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👩🏻🦽💨
The brake handles are an issue for my wife. I wonder if theres other options available since she cant bend forward to grab the brakes. But your chair looks cool
I use the wheel inserts as well.and I don't use the arm rest or those little side guards. That stuff just gets in the way.i don't use that flip up feet guard.my back goes up to about the middle of my back. I don't really care for the lower backs.
But… but the back… where’s the back of the chair? Just curious cause I lean back in any seat I’m in and I wonder if it’s uncomfortable to not be able to lean back when you have to sit in that a majority of the day.
The back really depends on the user…some have high back due to the level of injury…users with a higher level of injury may use a higher back due to not having as much trunk control and easily losing balance… Others like the young lady in the chair and paras like my wife (t8-t9 incomplete) have some or a decent amount of trunk control and like the lower back because they have more feeling in those areas…
@@Penelope_kcalso one thing I forgot is it also can be just a preference thing…there are so many options for these chairs now that you can kinda pick and choose how you wanna sit…
Can I ask how the rims help with less dislocations and the MCAS? I’ve just got a very basic chair, it’s also incredibly heavy and I can only self propel for very, very short distances. I’m running out of family members that are healthy enough to push me too lol
@Dwaynelrs.x it's alright, it's okay to be curious and want to know more knowledge. Some disabilities for people mean some days they can walk or stand a few steps, but other days they cannot as their body won't let them.
Please look up ambulatory wheelchair user. It's a person that uses a wheelchair due to a medical condition and have issues standing or walking for long periods. I'm getting a chair because I need to take frequent breaks. It allows me freedom, knowing that I always have a place to rest at.

Aero Z is aluminum tho
@@imonlyinitfortheparking As is the Aero T, which is the chair that I'm currently rockin', though, you can upgrade to Titanium, for a premium.
Why do you need the chair? You move very well. Curious.
Fantastic videos. You're doing great... Keep posting! God bless 🙏🏼

Good luck, you are a great spokesperson for these improvements.
I just got a ti lite myself. I got a Smartdrive motor that clips underneath. It is awesome!
Your wheels are so cool
Love the bangs shoes! They’re so cute! Also, dope wheels.
You're gorgeous!! 🔥🔥
Very.
Nice! Love your style as well

Congratulations on the new chair!
Thank God it's not ig comments 💀
I have EDS and videos like these just begin to chip away at the stigma of possiblyvhaving to use a chair one day

Ergonomics and your thumb won’t get caught between the rim and tire because of the trim.
It needs a turbo and nas fs
What a cutie.
Cut those backrest bars down
Nice do you really need it? Looks like your fine
Yes she does need it. Not all people who use wheelchairs are paralyzed
@KAITHEINVADER56 sorry about that but hey I love the wheels

She can still walk dummy
She can do cool wheelies and you can't
That's even sadder because you don't have a medical reason
