Oh no! I'm stranded out in the woods without any matches! whatever will i do?? oh. good thing I brought my 4, 9 volt batteries, 2 alligator clips, some tin foil, a piece of graphite, and a tissue.

Brian Bertram actually that would make a lot of sense as it's a reliable backup plan in case your matches become soggy, broken, scarce, or lost.

In school i was making pens that caught on fire (or ignited some other fireworks stuffed inside) when you pressed the button on end ;-) There was a sponge filled with glycerine and a pack of KMnO4 in alufoil in there, and as sponge got squeezed..... ;-)
I even got expelled for a week or something when a teacher set school diary on fire with a pen i "donated" :-)
For all you chemistry teachers out there, read that carefully, i will say it only oence ;-)
1. USE QUALITY LOCKS ON CHEMICALS STORAGE. Multiple of them.
2. And never, EVER loose sight on an "exposed" oxidizer container. It tends to evaporate rapidly, students acting as a catalyst (the bottle gets empty, but they seem pretty much unreacted, no matter how hard you try to see who did it ;-)
3. If content of "usefull" chemical container/jar looks like salt, or sugar, or water, and tastes like it, and reacts like it... it probably is.
4. and no, you will never get the original content of that bottle back, no matter how loud you scream at your class.
You could always use the Note 7 to start a fire..
in fact breaking a battery is a good last resort
