    Thank you Sarah for showing us Gouache!!! I look forward to the other tutorials this month. I would LOVE to see a subscription for other mediums. Gouache, acrylic, oil (? could be hard to do), etc. I would sign up in a heartbeat! :) I'd enjoy an all Gouache subscription too! I love learning new things!

    Keenan, may I be the first to suggest you might be talking about pomegranate? The first of many, I'm sure! LOL
    There's this awesome company that has a tutorial for that fruit ... you might have heard about it, "Let's Make Art".
    Just love you guys!

    I love the fact that this tutorial is under an hour. Perfect to be done during my lunch break. Working from home has advantages☺️. I get to paint with Sarah during the day!!! It would be really awsome to have more “quick” tutorials like this one. Thank you Sarah and Keenan for another great and fun tutorial

    I love papaya. It's good if you have tummy issues. It's delicious with a drizzle of lemon juice on it. It's got a great taste but can be a little smelly. You should for sure try it. At least once. Get it fresh. soft but firm.

    Hi Sarah! I had fun painting the papaya. The reason your phone might be ringing even on Do Not Disturb is the person texting/ calling is on your favorite or priority list (I don’t know what it is called). My dad has the immediate family on his list and our calls and texts ring through the Do Not Disturb. He has to tell us when we cannot text or call.

    Passion fruit is tropical and you eat the seeds, they're about the size of papaya seeds including the pulp that encases them (sort of like a pomegranate seed) but they are crunchy and its the only edible part of the fruit

    Papayas are really good with a squeeze of lime. They are my favorite fruit. You don’t eat the seeds. I think Keenan is thinking of pomegranates.

  • @melcarisa
    @melcarisa 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maybe Keenan was thinking of Pomagranates? That's a fruit where it's all seeds. Sarah, If you've ever had a tropical trail mix or tropical canned fruit mix, you may have tried papaya. But it's not typically very good. The fresh stuff is much better!

    We need to send y'all a coupon to the grocery store to buy a pomegranate (in season), mango (in season), papaya (probably in season), and a Kiwi. :-) Pomegranate - the scarlet edible seeds are called arils; Mango - the pit is Not edible (but you can sprout it indoors) and the yellow-orange flesh is very sweet, A ripe mango is sweeter than a doughnut! ; Papaya - the seeds are not really eaten and the orange flesh is sweet (but may be a little bitter, so add some lemon or lime juice to make it taste and smell much better); Kiwi - very sweet, green flesh, tiny 'edible' seeds. Some people who are sensitive to poison ivy, may also be mildly sensitive to the skins of a mango and papaya.

    I like papaya cut in pieces and mixed with other fruit like pineapple. It enhances the flavor
    Interesting fact papaya enzyme is good to alleviate symptoms of a sore stomach but the peel is terrific as a meat tenderizer
    And the peel can also be used to minimize a scar

    When you lived in Hawaii, you must have had papayas! We lived there a couple of years and had a papaya tree in the backyard. We made papaya jam and scooped out seeds and ate them sliced up. You can peel skin with vegetable peeler. The skin turns from green to yellowish orange when ripe. Aloha 🌺

    • @charleneshaheen3313
      @charleneshaheen3313 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I don’t think so because it’s too thin. Bob Ross always said you need the paint to stand up a little bit. So he used a thick oil paint.

    Keenan is thinking of passion fruit seeds. Papaya is pretty good IN things, but every time I eat it on its own, I think it tastes like feet. I've had papaya in South Africa, Costa Rica, like places where papaya is GOOD, but I still hate it lol

    Sarah and Keenan, you papayas are delicious, but I also feel like it's a little bit of an acquired taste. It's not like some other fruits that are sweet tangy. It's hard to describe its flavor.
