I totally agree 💯 with the point that Mahindra really needs to work on its Electronics...
- I was crossing Shimla in Feb 2023 and my Front Parking Sensors were sensing objects on MID, even when there was no one in front of the Car 🤦🏻‍♂️
- While coming back from Jaisalmer after a heavy Sand Dunes Bashing, suddenly on the highway, the whole Electronics started lagging (e.g. Check Engine Light was continuously coming & going... when changing gears, it was taking about 10 seconds to show the current Gear Number on MID... When changing the song, it took 10+ seconds to change... All the buttons on the screen were irresponsive like this)
Then I stopped the Car and restarted it, and it all got fixed.
Apart from this, I never faced any mechanical issue like DEF issue or anything like less RPM etc.

I am an engineer in electronics. Most of the semiconductor chips comes in 2-3 variants. All variants works exactly the same but their working temperature range differs. For example there is a operational amplifier IC which comes in 3 variants (LM124, LM225 & LM324).
LM324 temperature range is 0° to 70°C
LM224 temperature range is -25° to 85°C
LM124 temperature range is -55° to 125°C
LM324 is obviously cheaper. Indian automobile industry do not have their own electronics development teams so they do not see the difference and source the item which is cheaper.
🔖I do not here say that LM324 is being used in ecu & other electronic control system. Its just an example. Most of the semiconductor components have their specific temperature ranges. I hope you must have understood. Mahindra would never be able to solve your problem without getting ecu redeveloped with right materials.
