The team is stuck with double duelist cos neither Jing nor Something can place anything apart from Jett and Raze(sage isn't meta anymore). Alecks can't cook up new strats, when they're still using outdated comps. In the end Valorant is still an extremely simple game. Good experience, util and aim and you can outgun like majority of the regional and even some international teams. If Something and Jing don't pick up new agents over a 7month period like idk what to say anymore. But then again the w gaming playstyle is unlikely to win a championship. Just like James Harden Luka Doncic in the nba, ball dominant guards can be good but they can never win the finals.
Different times. They did not play as well as they did with CGRS shortly after the main roster came back together and monyet was definitely worse than jinggg at raze but when he came back raze was heavy nerfed and all her maps were out of rotation
Moneyet was pressured out because of popularity, which sucks. Because all of his stats were better and results were on an upward trajectory, it would be logical to attempt to keep him especially after the success they had with him coming in as a newer player to the roster... But nope.
Like I seriously don't understand what jinggg brings in that was better than monyet. Monyet was absolutely explosive in madrid and I loved watching him play + he brought in an explosive vibe to PRX. Jinggg is just cute man vibes and Idts PRX needs more of that

Let me cook: 1. Put david on Jett with OP, he’s better at sniper than something. 2. Make Jinggg learn Sentinel to prevent him from overheating, like what happened to G2 leaf. 3. Make something learn initiator as his Gekko is pretty good, and playing Sova and Breach could prevent him from overheating while also allowing him to support entry and trade which satisfies his itch to push. 4. f0rsaken can focus on playing flex as the second duelist to support david or double initiator / controller / sentinel on most other maps. Now that he doesn’t have to support Jinggg he can shine as a fragger. 5. Mindfreak can remain as their main controller, he has honestly been performing the most consistently and pumping out insane clutches. tl;dr david jett, f0rsaken raze / flex, something initiator, Jinggg sentinel, mindfreak controller

As for jinggg he plays decent amt of sage and there have been star duelists who transitioned well to sentinel like leaf, meteor, tex, alfajer. As for something his gekko and breach are his most played agents other than reyna and jett. And agent mastery isn’t that hard for pro players to learn, it’s not like they only play 1 role in ranked.
I like the idea of switching up Jinggg to an extent, but Something’s Jett movement (and OPing) is some of the best in the world. Don’t think that would be wise lol… Maybe just swap up JJ and David’s roles
There's two things They will never win a trophy with the same roster or they will win a trophy with the same roster. So it's either the org will drop some players and get better players to fill in the role well or stick with the roster but let them practice for a different role that would work on them. Because PRX is a really talented roster and it's a shame if they will break apart up this point. They just gotta work better on how to make this roster work different and effectively.
I think PRX will be fine once they get a full offseason with jinggg, he kinda joined back at an awkward time. They’ve just been playing in non stop in splits and tournies without much time to find their footing with him
Aigt listen guys, sometimes roster change is not the answer. The current Prx problems is actually the agent pool hence the map pool. The player is being inconsistent and overheat maybe because the strats dont give them enough confidence. So instead what they have to do is actually have a better system/protocol/discipline and improve agent pool. They still can W gaming while have good strats like in Bind vs Fut. Forsaken maybe can step up to be igl/main caller because he already doing some of the call and he's leaning into it. For the role, the duelist either master more duelist or transition to sentinel like most duelist do like leaf, meteor etc so mindfreak can stay on smoke and forsaken&d4vai stay on flex/initiator. For the people that keep saying why not let Monyet/Benkai stay, at that time, the meta is different. Before this. the meta agent is raze, so of course they will take Jingg over Monyet. But that take a turn after raze nerf, what we can do about that because nobody can see that coming. The meta and map pool is everchanging while the schedule is so tight. There's not even proper time gap between split (shanghai and split 2 only 1 weeks apart), hence no time for more proper preparation. I believe with this looooong off season and proper schedule next year, they can do better. First of all I understand why they pushed instead of playing post plant. 1. Only 2 players left and one of them has OP. Since there are 4 of us. Losing a gun won't hurt much despite of having lower credits. 2.Taking out guns of other teams can lower their credits for subsequent rounds. 3.Smoggy getting 2 there was massive. He should have got traded. 4.After that Jingg held the spike. But was unaware of flank. Most would say should have just hold postplant. But what they tried to do is also correct. But they failed. PRX has most things for a dream team. Aim mechanics, movements, strats etc. What they lack? A counter strating IGL. They need to play default more. They rarley default. They just cook some strats and hit sites relying on their aim.

I still don't get why they dropped Benkai for Something when Forsaken and Jingg both played duelist already and have reached the finals with Benkai. And most ppl love it whenever he comes on stage with the vibes and customes and shit. No hate to Something but I don't get why they dropped him.
To be honest, the only things jingg can do are sage and raze, and the only things something can play are reyna , jett, gekko. when the meta is about "NEON" and they both can't even play it, or practice it properly. It's really out-meta with 2 duelist. These guys really think they can play with just "aim" without discipline. In the biggest stages like Champion or Master, all the players are good with aim, the only thing they can be different is teamwork and tactics. Idk why something never tries to improve his agent pool, look at aspas or jawgemo (these guys keep consistency for years just because they know what they should play with the meta). This is the reason why i only like PRX for the content, but never want they win a trophy, they just don't deserve it.

this team just needs to disband already. they need a system and learn how to be methodical. this is why gen.g have been succesful even they're a new team compare to prx. prx are mechanically gifted players.

I think it’s also partially the players as well because it’s clear that that just how they like to play (fast paced, fighting, not as methodically). While there is definitely teams even now that are super aggressive I think that Paper Rex sees a lot of dumb aggression which is why they lose a lot of rounds and games end up snowballing. I think they should just keep something on permanent duelist and have him learn the other meta picks because I see it a lot from him and the agents he plays you just can’t do that with as well as duelists. IDK what they should do for jinggg though they can try sentinel? Cause I see he plays sage a lot but I’m not sure how well that would work

I hope he changes the team for his betterment, cause right now, two duelist isn't looking good for PRX. Mf gets a lot of hate but he and davai are the only sanest guy on the team.
@@enomolous I agree with that fully the meta has changed and the way they play just won’t work anymore. I think it’s also partially the players as well because it’s clear that that just how they like to play (fast paced, fighting, not as methodically). While there is definitely teams even now that are super aggressive I think that Paper Rex sees a lot of dumb aggression which is why they lose a lot of rounds and games end up snowballing. I think they should just keep something on permanent duelist and have him learn the other meta picks because I see it a lot from him and the agents he plays you just can’t do that with as well as duelists. IDK what they should do for jinggg though they can try sentinel? Cause I see he plays sage a lot but I’m not sure how well that would work
