FAKE 2000Amps Car Jumper Cables - Look how I Fix them

I bought these fake jumper cables with micro copper wires inside isolation,you cant light a small bulb with these fakers not even thinking
to jump a car,help a friend.
So I replace the bad cables with 5x2.5mm cables that I have around my shop.

I like to repair and to improve things, but in this case I have a few doubts.
The new "cable" has still a too small cross-section (< 100 A could work). The crocodile clamps are also cheap, so they might break with high currents. High current connections must always done via crimped connections (there are hydraulic presses for that) and not via soldering.
Next time, just give it back to the seller and buy a good pair of cables.

Very nice one thanks 👍, although maybe no need for the electrical tape, with heat (in the car), i think the adhesive will go everywhere and make the cable sticky etc

It's still a poor solution.
You should visit ANY big-rig repair shop or any stereo installation shop and purchase some proper single-lead 1/O or 4-Ga lengths of cable. They will cut you any length you desire.
If you are lucky, they may even have some cable of those sizes with 2-separate leads in one "loom".

I used an electrical wire consisting of 3 wires, each of them 4 mm
