I like the strap clips a lot better on the fourth element, much easier to change to the many after market ones, or when needs replaced. By the way they also come in black with orange highlights (and many other colors), and it looks awesome
They've got really good customer service too. Nora has had an issue with the fins, and they're offering to replace them free of charge. Can't argue with service like that!
This was such a helpful review! One question - what shoe size do you wear Nora? I wear regular converse diving regularly, US size 8. Wondering if I should go up to the large or stick with the Medium
😂😂 my gf was looking for new jet fins and looking at the RK3’s that I use, there was a shortage of stock in UK so taking her time to be sure. Fourth Element launched these, she spotted they were teal and pre-ordered them within 10 minutes 🙄
The teal is so appealing. I found it odd that none of the jet style manufacturers have released any shade of blue or similar colour until these. I've no idea why.
Deep6 did have a baby blue colour, but from talking to Landon at Deep 6, this has not been that popular. I assume its all down to inventory risk. Black is a safe bet and will always sell, but like football boots, divers want to have a personal touch. I think this bold move by Forth Element may have a bigger impact as other manufacturers move away from primary colours. Apeks has a good range of colours in their RK3 range too. Thanks for your comment though
I had assumed this to be the case. When I was reading the blurb about their Ocean Positive thing it made me wonder if this really is a deliberate design initiative to stand out from the crowd or something someone in marketing picked up on. I would assume almost all rubber jet style fins would be largely recyclable (even if hardly anyone would ever recycle them).

Nora wears a US size 8 and has small booties. She's got the large. I'd go with the large as the medium has a smaller blade too

She sounds just like our Nora too.... The colour sold it!

Just buy a pair of Apex RK3s and be done with it. If you're an alphabet person, it comes in pretty colours like pink and yellow 😂 😂 😂
The RK3's are too soft, and the HD's too heavy... And they don't come in teal 🩵🩵🩵
You can recycle the Eddy plastic.

Hi foot packet size between Fourth Element & Deep Six are the same, I have the Deep Six in size L should buy Fourth Element size L thanks in advance
Based on our limited experience (1 set) they seem to be about the same size. Nora bought a large in each and they fit perfectly
They aren't made in same factory
Thanks for your input Chris..... Always welcome
2:15 If @Dave2D reviewed fins. 😂
LOL.... Indeed! I may have taken some poetic license to copy Dave2D :)
Deep 6 Eddy Flipper.. 🙂

@@DeeferDivingCarriacou googles is wrong, flipper is correct
