    It is great material. And having worked with some of it makes it better for the return trip. Looking forward to exploring more of the mine also. So many different forms of mineralization make for great specimens.

      I agree. Normally I try to just take a good sampling of material when I go somewhere new which makes a return trip that much more enjoyable.

    So pretty. This is where a cordless jack hammer would come in handy. I might have to invest in one for extracting rock when I make a trip to the mountains.

    Looked like a fun trip, wish we had places like that in TN. I just recently got a Chrysotile and Serpentine specimen. He went in his safety jar😅

    Hopefully they will be open to the public again one of these days. I would love to get some pieces of that material. Do you know if they sell it, or if they will be open to the public ever again? Awesome video!😎🪨👍🔥

      I'm not sure if they are selling it online but I'm sure you can email them and ask.

      They’ll be open to the public one weekend in each of these months: May, June and July I believe. The weekend dates are up on their website I believe!

    What’s the best way to remove to dusty outer layer of actinolite off? Just cut it? Grind it off? Is there a chemical way?

      At the time of filming the price was $1lb but I wouldn't be surprised if they raised the price some next year since all of the dig are having to do that to keep up with the direction of everything else in life.
