    I’m kind of surprised that nobody noticed that when she put the helmet on, it was very reminiscent of when Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader and when the helmet was put on him for the very first time it kind of mimicked his breathing.

    Qimir's Master was Master Virnestra. That is why they were focusing on his Scars so much. And that is why they showed her use her Light Whip this Episode.

    It's telling that with the evidence of lightsaber wounds Venestra's padawan's conclusion to the massacre is "A powerful Jedi has fallen." It shows how completely out of the realm of possibility Sith are to this era of Jedi. It makes any sort of cover-up easy.

    • @OrionInSpace
      @OrionInSpace 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I just really hope that I don’t see the online stupidity from some people where they say that a cover-up is not possible by the Jedi and so anti-lore to them. The minute anybody says that I might be done with this franchise because it shows who the real Star Wars fans are and who have been watching and listening and reading everything that this franchise has put out for 40 years. A cover-up was the only way they could do this story and it seems like they’re trying to do that.

    Thanks guys I subscibed today beacuse I like your style of reviewing SW. As a minority who stood in the long lines summer of '77 and basked in amazement at this tale from a galaxy far ,far away I'm sad and other emotions at the Types and level of hate going to this and other recent projects. I watch a Lot of reaction channels and it seemed like even the ones who weren't on the hate train were nit picking on some next level needlessly. You're reacting to a story somebody's telling not one the way you want told. After Ep.4 I said Lemme see what the folks who have higher level Geek cards than mine are saying. I check out you guys and a couple of other similar channels and realize that it really was all about the Maga-lytes. I enjoyed your takes on Asoka as well.
    I've never seen Clone Wars, Rebels or The Bad Batch but I know enough about the Legacy books to understand that Thrawn's return from wherever is a no good very bad thing. I know that Any Jedi related force user -regardless of current leanings who survived Order 66 is a survivor and plans to stay that way ,period. A dathomir witch out and about playing Own Goals is A problem even if they weren't aligned with Thrawn. Good to get insight on the characters without petty commentary.

      Also, imagine if Sol saved the wrong twin & it was the twin who started the fire.. it would explain her problem with her attachment to people(she was willing to kill her sister) & not being able to let go. For example, the twin who wanted to be a Jedi didn't have attachment issues, but the other one did. And Sol wipped her memory & told her it was her sister that did it.

    I'm really starting to think Qimir is the closest we've seen to a grey Force user in live action like Kreia from KOTOR 2. It's almost like a manic depressive connection to the Force. He maintains a meditative state like a Jedi by living by the ocean, but he can flip to accessing strong emotions to go dark when he needs to. This is probably why he still has access to Force healing. Definitely not a Sith.

    • @xDarthSTYXx
      @xDarthSTYXx 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kreia wasn't grey JFC. She was a Sith Lord who wanted to end the Force and all existence. Did you actually finish the game? LOL
      Also, Qimir didn't Force Heal. Osha is still wounded in this episode.

    I think you must have missed the clue. Quimirs scar was from Sylvestea light whip. She was his master. Looks like she is the main villain. Cruelty shouldn't be a part of training. I love the clues this show gives. The way Quimirs moved when Mae attacked him with the knife. The fact he didn't want his mind read. The power of 2 and many is going to come into this.

  • @madeleinerandall4585
    @madeleinerandall4585 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    My prediction is that Osha is going to join Qimir and Mae is going to join Sol. I reckon 100% it's going to end with Osha murdering Sol (and maybe Mae?), unless Qimir murders Mae.

    @The716thLegion,
    21:44 No, we HAVE NOT seen all of the trailer footage yet. We haven't seen the other side of what happened on Brendok--Kelnacca fighting someone (Torbin?) at night. There was also a scene of Indara in what I think was a cockpit, possibly her flying the team out of Brendok, after everything went down. I think we're getting that next week's episode--we don't have much time left in this story.
    Sol spent most of the series calling both Mae and Osha by name, so why did he suddenly switch when talking to Mae? Why did he say, "where is SHE, YOUR SISTER?" That fell out of place to you at the time when he said it? It surprised me, for the reasons I already stated. Sol is attached to both sisters, he cares for them both deeply. As Osha was his apprentice, he's attuned to her, but Mae being her identical twin, likely allows him to be somewhat attached to Mae too, though not as strongly. I am of the mindset that Sol knew he was talking to Mae the moment she walked up on him on Kohfar. His mission was a bust; he lost his entire time. They were sent there to get Mae, so why call her out and make her run?
    You don't think Master Vernestra is Qimir's former master? She has a Lightwhip and he has what looks like a whip scar on his back. We don't know what's going on, but she's acting like she's seen/sensed this sort of thing before! She probably did what she did way back when because she felt something dark in her pawdawan. Did she leave him for dead? Someone saved him, his new master? The Witches from Brendok? Whoever saved him likely taught him how to heal?
    I think Qimir was on Brendok 16 years ago, and the Jedi's presence there triggered him. He was betrayed by his master and left for dead. Qimir wanted to ruin the Jedi, in the same way his master ruined him. I think Qimir got inside the mind of Torbin and made him attack/kill the witches on Brendok--Torbin's mind was weak, and that's why Mother Aniseya was able to take him. Kelnacca I was likely forced to get involved and he smacked the $#!+ at of Torbin, which would explain where that wicked scar of his came from.
    After the dust at settled, the Jedi likely felt a dark presence, something very powerful that scared the $#!+ out of them, which would explain why Sol looked like he was in a hurry when saving Osha. They snatched her up and got the hell out of Dodge. Indara and Vernestra likely agreed to never to the Jedi Council of this incident because the Jedi Council has always been on shaky ground with the Senate.
    The Jedi and the Senate had a reciprocal agreement. The Senate allowed the Jedi to craft the laws on the Force and in exchange, the Senate has control over the Jedi, an arrangement we see through the prequels. The reforms the Jedi pushed through took away the cultures of Force-sensitive beings everywhere in the galaxy--only Jedi could legally practice the Force. This is why the Witches on Brendok were hunted down and killed and why this very diverse group of witches banded together and formed a coven in the Outer Rim; no place in the Inner Rim would have them.
    After the Jedi's reforms went through, cultures who practiced the Force had one of two choices: give up the Force or face prosecution. The Jedi's political enemies in the Inner Rim and Core systems are likely worlds that had to give up their culture/religion. Toppling the Jedi would allow them to practice the Force again in the way they once did. The Jedi don't want this of course, because by controlling the Force is preventing the Sith's return, saving the galaxy from another endless war. From the Jedi's point of view, this is the right thing to do; the only thing they can do.
    Ironically, their extreme measures birthed their enemies into existence and eventually wiped them out, all of them.

    Osha seemed very confident that Sol would find her, and I think that Qimir is counting on it. Qimir was very smart and knew what she was gonna do anyways but still posed it as a question. He knew she was gonna put on that Cortosis helmet, one would think that would block Sol from pinpointing exactly where she may be, etc.
    What I am expecting tbh is flashback next week. The cortosis helmet is gonna allow Osha to see clearly, and Sol is gonna tell Mae himself. Both will come to realizations afterwards, episode ends.
    Final episode, I think an actual, undeniable Sith Lord is showing up. If Qimir is a Sith, it will be his master. If Qimir just invoked the name to get the reaction, real Sith REALLY don't like pretenders.

  • @dinahgraham4964
    @dinahgraham4964 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    The planet has ties to plagueis mining cortosis. What if the two sith are plagueis and his master, qimir was in the running, but was thrown away. That mark could also be from the dark side as they also had whip saber right? Qimir hates Sith for feeling abandoned, and jedi because he was there on Brendock and saw what the Sith did which is why he was punished because plagueis was creating force babies around this time period. Qimir will create the knights of Ren from these moments. This show has alot of red herrings and misleads which keep you guessing. Power of One, Power of Two, Power of Many...just makes me think of a moment.

    Theory: Qimir's master ( Plagus) destroyed the witches looking for the 'power to create life' - ep3 @ 22:58 mother Korril states : 'And what happens when the Jedi discover how you created them?' Sol and the 3 other Jedi found out and why Osha left the order.
    Qimir also found out. Qimir = Master Vernestra's former padawan

    Another good episode. This episode feels diffrent than the rest. Far better direction. The set lighting looks far better too. It is not look like lit flat like a TV show set. There is more depth in the lighting design and the characters don't feel as flat as in the previous episodes. The most professional looking episode so far. The most film-like episode so far.
