That would explain a lot. The mod authors probably have not thought about the max movement speed in the vanilla game or of a way to overwrite it.
pretty sure squirrel's controller was just bugged out and causing him to crouch the entire time, kinda like how delirious' controller was making him go left for an entire video about a week or two ago
i think it's more an issue of th 2 card packs they have on there. i think some cards share an ID and thus one gets picked, but both are applied - the super block for squirrel in the other vid, the super slow for quirrel here.... because he still could crouch while being slow, he can't have been glitch crouching all the time

Having 4 whole people just keep on thinking Ethereal means invisible was more frustrating than I could have known. It feels like I was shouting at my TV when I knew the Jeopardy answer that none of the contestants could figure out.

I mean not necessarily. Ethereal means spectral more or less. So a good way to think about it is , the physical characteristics of a traditional ghost.
Can pass threw physical objects, and change the level of opacity from dense and physical to immaterial and transparent. Gravity has little to no effect, and sometimes time passes differently to your perspective.

Imagine the snake upgrade with demonic pact+buckshot/terminator/burst...
My heart actually broke when Rilla didn't pick healing field with his Demonic Pact, dang this is good.
He could've also picked parasite I believe, which would be really strong with Demonic Pact, because it basically doesn't have a reload, so he can fire and damage you with the shot, and then parasite would do additional damage.

There’s a card called Radiance (I’m not sure if it’s new or not) that, when you reload, make Sun waves that deal damage overtime. It also gives you more HP. Could be useful.
I think Phantom makes bullets go through you and lets your bullets travel through walls I think. Ethereal means like otherworldly or holy or spiritual and shit so, yeah.
You can turn off the original cards with the F1 key in the main menu

Yet also more likely to be a one shot KO for your opponent (or at least a hit less to kill) which makes the hp actually more valuable in most scenarios (it depends how many hp+ cards you took beforehand).

Deadsquirrel really has a knack of killing his own teammates as much as Delirious. I had to shake my head and just be “oh my god…..Squirrel WHAT YOU DOING?!!” But is funny
I'd just like to point out, possibly like many others, "Ethereal" (ee-theer-ee-al) doesn't mean invisible...
What happened at 18:15 was that rilla killed his teammate squirrel and then delirious shot him in the face

The reason that things like terminator and barrage and buckshot etc do less damage is because you are during multiple bullets at once and each bullet does the same amount of damage so for example if you are firing 1 bullet at 100% damage it will deal less damage than it you are firing 4 bullets at 50% damage assuming all 4 bullets hit the enemy.
*Map with platforms you can shoot out* "Welp, Squirrel is dead"
