If I were a businessman like Vijay Malya I would have done the same thing. He was a really talented businessman who lost everything due to his ambition. He left us nothing but a lesson. Even I want to be a big businesman.
Your last point was the strongest that even governments spends billions to revive bad business sectors but people dont consider it generally as bad.

I think this can be recovered at that time if government issued FDI on the right time, so we can say that government is lacking to the help or motivate the Indian businessman

I actually liked what Vijay did ,as a businessman he took risk and also tried to bring the airline back to business but Indian Govt took the call of FDI in Aviation only after Kingfisher Closed that was a pure Political Vendetta , he even offers to pay bank 6000cr but banks refused again that's a matter of concern the only problem in the whole case is he closed down the airline business , if he had stood some more time then he would have definitely revived the business again ,the biggest Chor and fradster is INDIAN AIRLINE that has a bad dwbt of 40 thousand Cr on it and still it is running now after watching this video i think Vijay Took a Revenge against the Govt of India.

Airlines can be run by that person who has lot of money, business experience and trust so that in severe cases help can come. As Airlines is big business so their requirements is also big. Thatswhy only Tata group can run it properly in India. Now Air India is in Tata hand let see what future decide.

He thought of providing luxury service to customers, which means he tried his best to satisfy the customers and secondly he told the banks that he would pay off the principal amount, which shows that he was not a wilful defaulter. As per the analysis by the youtuber, he shouldnt have jumped onto international market without checking on the profits from domestic circuit. Also if he would have got FDI, he would not have fled away to another country., so one way Govt is responsible somehow.

That 6000 crores was a good proposal in return of 9000 crores. Banks will now write it all off or accept just 6 to 10% under Bankruptcy tribunal courts (NCLT etc) as has been happened with some cases of bankruptcies. I think banks authorities should be punished for erring big time.

Amazing video ! All that people blame for his bancrupcy is his flashy lifestyle and tarnish his image. He was a man with great vision but the way the things unfolded shook his ground and shattered it all.. Had it been that Etihad would have invested in Kingfisher, he would have left no stone unturned to make it equivalent to Emirates or any other five star carriers. It was a big fat conspiracy by the government to ensure the national carrier AI sustained the competition. Very cheap tactics, I must say.
