      Advantages: It is a relatively simple and quick method for analyzing samples that absorb UV light. It requires small sample volumes and is non-destructive.
      High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC):
      Principle: HPLC is a type of chromatographic technique. It involves passing a liquid sample through a column filled with a solid adsorbent material under high pressure. Different components of the sample interact differently with the adsorbent material, causing them to separate as they flow through the column.
      Usage: HPLC is used for separating, identifying, and quantifying each component in a mixture. It is highly versatile and can analyze a wide range of compounds, including those that do not absorb UV light.
      Advantages: HPLC provides high resolution and sensitivity. It can handle complex mixtures and is capable of providing detailed information about the components of a sample.
      In summary, while UV spectrophotometry is primarily used for quantifying substances that absorb UV light, HPLC is a more versatile technique that can separate, identify, and quantify various components in a mixture, regardless of their UV absorption properties. The choice between the two methods depends on the nature of the sample and the specific analytical requirements.
