Tiger reserves r considered a single most important part of eco system. One tiger reserve can save and regenerate an entire landmass and recreate life in all forms. One tiger can save many lives including ours too! Sounds ironic.

India has some of the most beautiful tiger reserves and national parks. Some of them (popular) are:
Jim Corbett national park in Uttarakhand
Ranthambhore national park and Siriska Tiger reserve in Rajasthan
*Gir in Gujarat (No tigers but the only home for Asiatic Lions)
Dudhwa and Philbit in Uttar Pradesh
Panna, Kanha and Bandhavgarh in Madhyapradesh( and Chattisgarh)
Tadoba, Bor and Pench (Maharashtra and Some parts of MP for Pench)
    Kabini in karnataka
    Sundarban in West Bengal
Kaziranga (have very low visibility of tiger but has a good count of tigers) and Manas in Assam
There are few others too. But I have mentioned mostly the popular ones. If possible find some of the videos related to these national Parks and Tiger reserves.
You would love videos related to these. Love from India.

I have also lived for 6 years in the region where this tiger reserve is situated, during my childhood. My father used to work there. We used to see tigers many times. The forest guards are given a stick, a torch and an umbrella (in rainy season) as his tool in forest area but tigers and other animals (bear, wild boar, etc) never attack on them. They know them as their friends. Even they know these safari Gypsi vehicles also, that they come to see them so they don't charge on them. Tourists are also given strict instructions before being taken into forest for safari like, not to talk loudly, not to wear bright colors like red, not to make any signals to tigers. Sometimes even mobile phones are also banned. They're not allowed to go close than 50 mtrs. to tigers. If tiger is resting on the path, then all people have to wait for tiger to go away, they can't honk horn. One state highway and a railway line also goes thru this BTR, but all trucks are to go without honking horn at a low speed of 30km/hr. I have also visited there 4 years back and hav a plan to go again later this year.
