One thing I truly enjoy about your videos. They are honest and tell it like it is, without sounding like pure negativity. Its just a small dose of honesty that's refreshing. Very nice
I love your voice Robert! I love the sound of your voice, your accent, the inflection you place on words, and your humor. You are very enjoyable to listen to. I could listen for hours. Keep up the great videos.
We got a kick at around 27:30, the seagull slipping of the railing as you walked by my wife laughed & said, Happy Feet! Then we both cracked up. Enjoy your videos! 👏
@Lloyd Bonafide It was nice back in the 70's before there were all the tourists...I lived there for about 6 months and it was beautiful but went back about ten years ago and it was just an over priced, run down tourist spot.
Really cool you found your childhood address from Cuba. I was adopted into a Cuban family and your voice reminds me of my grandfather. They are all dead now and I miss that lifestyle.
My family from Alsace Loraine was shipwrecked on the Florida reefs in 1843. They were taken by lighter boat to Key West and decided to live there. As the family expanded thru generations they moved to Lemon City (Miami) and Coconut Grove. I was raised in the house they built on Bayshore Drive (originally beach front property) and Tigertail Road. Their homes (2) in the PBS show THIS OLD HOUSE were rebuilt and televised. Growing up in Coconut Grove in the fifties was really fun. Life sure was different back then. It’s still fun to visit Key West like a tourist.
I love your videos traveling round America. I live in England and will never be able to go there, But watching your videos I don't need to, you show the good and the not so good in equal measure.
Wow this reminds me of my home Grand Cayman especially the beach at the ending of the video with the casuarina trees. We have lovely beaches white powdery sands. I'm feeling a little nostalgic watching this video.
I never tire of your Key West videos. Such an interesting, historic place and no one does it better than you. Good to 'see' Ileana enjoying a Mohito with you. Loved the lighthouse..... so glad you climbed the stairs so I wouldn't have to! Always love the chickens. Appreciate your candor regarding the quality and pricing of food & drink. As always your music is icing on the cake.....love it!
Great video...at 24:59 you were near Louie's Backyard which has a nice tiki bar on the water. Next time camping at Boyd's, ask for directions to Hogfish Bar and Grill. Old Florida style watering hole, on Stock Island..
Thank you for all the sights. I'm retired and looking to live somewhere in the Keys that I can offerd with my wife and son. I watch your videos once in awhile to dream.
Robert I miss your keys excursions, it's what got me hooked on your channel. Please don't wait to do the keys again in total, Please. Thanks, Tom and Kerolina
I'm British I've been the keys and Miami back in 2002..what a beautiful place. This brought a lot of memories back, Duvall st. In Key West. The Airforce base. The fantastic houses, I want to go back. Is Fletchers still there and Hard rock cafe? We went in October ..90° day and 80° in the night. Mallory square with the sun going down. Corvettes in a sales room.. brilliant.
A floating Tiki Bar! Now I've seen everything. Love your voice, husky, funny, just enough talk and no more. Love the commentary about historical places, the slower pace and the small ambience shots like the rooster and chickens - such a laid back peaceful place. If it were not for tourists, it would be very quiet and sleepy. Love your tours and savoring this one. Keep making them please! I want to know everything about Florida, Miami, and the South. Must visit soon as Covid lifts. I also appreciate the RV tips as I plan to RV down there all the way from CA!
I love that you give honest reviews about places y’all visit and that you’ll get up and leave if no one at least acknowledges you. As you’ve said, small businesses built around tourism are expensive and unfortunately so many of them are staffed by inattentive and/or unfriendly people. Not a wise business decision!
My sister lived in KW for 25 years. I used too take my children down from Tampa every summer for Lobster Fest. What a blast. We would go diving for Lobster and see all the sights and join in all the fun. Everyone is friendly and there is so much to do and see.
4:00 I was never aware there was ANY source of fresh *ground* water in the Keys. That's why most every house had a cistern for holding rain water. The old houses which still have them require it to be inspected for safety by the county for it to be used, but like, as long as you know how to keep your mouth shut, how would they know? Yep, cisterns and that _mamá grasa_ pipe from the mainline are all I've heard about lo these many years.
Hello Robert, at 35:23 you showed a bottle of IPA. The same one I bought yesterday at a Systembolaget here in Sweden. I'm right now on vacation in Sweden. 😁😁👍👍👍 Think Systembolaget you know what it is after your visit in Scandinavia in June. Cheers Volker (from Hamburg Germany)
My family lived here in Key West from mid-1952 to mid-1957. My father was stationed at the Submarine Base. We lived in Old Perry Court. I remember President Eisenhower visited once, they named Eisenhower Drive after him just before he arrived. It was a great place to live, and yes the humidity was terrible. We used to snorkel out on the lee side of the reef, it was great fun. And the fishing was fantastic. It looks way too crowded these days.
In these times of severely restricted travel, these vlogs are great to keep you going. Can’t wait to get back to The Florida Keys. Cheers to you Robert for these reminders of such beautiful parts, Steven (UK) 🌅
Thank you Robert...I lived in Key West in High School for quite some time.....I had forgotten all of the great food on every corner......nothing like Cuban food.....Boa's fish wagon has expanded tremendously lol.....places to sit.....and no Bo.......never saw the Light House the entire time I lived there, thirty years.......yes I was a Conch Train Driver, the tour is boring...........informative but sloooooooooow! ' and you got it HOT>>enjoy awaiting more of your stories......love your commentary man.....THANKS>>>>>wow the distillaries......amazing....I knew it was coming.....I also cleaned Jimmy Buffet's Home yes......quite informative.......! Mojito!
Robert: Thank you so much for this key west video. I haven't been back to FL in many years, but I remember almost everything you showed. I lived in Homestead before and after Hurricane Andrew 8-1992 Bad deal, lost everything I had. Forced to move to TX and that wasn't much better, too many tornadoes LOL. Seriously, I really do enjoy the vacation type story telling. Blessings.
I stumbled across this video and love it! I’m glad I took the time to read all the comments left by others who saw this and many of your other videos. I look forward to watching some of your other Key West and Florida videos. Traveling to, and experiencing all that Key West has to offer, is high on my “Bucket” list of places to visit. Hope to get their soon. Thanks again for taking the time to document your experiences.
What a fantastic video of Key West! Only can be a fantasy for some of us, but so great to live vicariously through your vids. Thanks, Robert, and happy & safe travels ... free in your RV, yeaaah!
Key west cleaned up well after the hurricane . I did not know if it was good idea to go . Thanks for your video. Your video's are a treat and relaxing. Found you by accident . I love what you re doing and subscribed
Thanks Robert for the under water tour... Guess it will takes years to build back in meantime charges go up so they can build back maybe.. Thanks for the videos... it was very nice meeting you at RTR this year.. safe travels..
Love watching your videos. You are showing me places I would love to visit or have visited and you bring back memories. Hopefully I can live a similar life in a few years when I retire.
ANOTHER great video, love all your videos but the Florida trips are my favorites. Helps stave my travel cravings. Watched your 2015 Lobsterfest video a year or so back, that's what got me hooked on your channel. Safe travels my friend, hope to meet you some day.
first time seeing key west and a bit surprised at the lack of sand. also it reminds me of new Orleans with all the bars. Probably would be best to go with lots of friends.
Robert! Please keep the hard work up. I love your editing, your music, your voice and accent! The perfect mix of intrigue and fun. Eres un barbaro! Much love from a fellow miamian.
another sleepless nite so decided to walk down memory lane...my daughter and i lived in key west for a little over a year but decided it wasnt where i wanted to raise her...so moved to marathon and from there to clearwater beach...spent 3 years in florida but couldnt take the stifling humidity and headed back to arizona...many fond memories but glad to be back home
Hi, Robert 👍🏻👍🏻 I always enjoy watching your travels to Key West, also you visited a lot of different places and areas in this video so amazing to see the beautiful scenery and surrounding area. I enjoyed your visit to the park and the snorkeling underwater scenes were cool lots of fish 🐟. Thanks for sharing and taking us along with you, enjoy and have a Great Friday !!! Danny
Howdy Robert, many thanks for sharing yet another 'superproduction' video here which I watched with great pleasure on my smartphone in my hotel room on the Greek island of Rhodes, where I am holidaying right now.Cordial greetings from William(the guy from Bruges, Belgium,Europe-lol)
A very good voice from the one doing the talking, Robert and is very educational without negativity which abounds these days by less discriminating loggists

Love “traveling” with you, Robert! ❤️ It’s great fun, and it’s like being on a vacation. Love the iguana! My uncle Dale was a specialist nurse in Key West, years ago.
I am trying to catch up on all your cool shows. My wife and I like them all. I have been to Key West a few times before I met my wife. We have been married 32 plus years and your videos bring back memories. I want to take my wife their.
Every time, Robert, I hear you say that the servers in a particular restaurant was incredibly “in a bad mood” my heart sinks. I am so sorry for anyone in this America you so love, and are such a blessing in, should treat you any other way but kind. 🇺🇸💐
Nice campsite, price was steep but it is the keys and waterfront. Iguanas creep me out a little. Wow I never knew that about Pan Am. Nice Brewery too. You showed us so many other cool sites you visited👍🏻 Gosh I hope we get back to regular life soon so we can do festivals like the lobster festival again.
nice video i was also driving to the keys on that same day august 10 taking my 13 year old daughter so sea camp on Big pine key most of the places have been cleaned up and are missing lots of vegetation
Another wonderful video. I guess the best time for a trip to the keys is in the spring with no humidity or chance of hurricanes. BTW the lighthouse there looks like the one at Ponce Inlet and is just as hot walking up the spiral stairs. They have those Fresnel lenses for display in a separate building too. Fascinating stuff.
Just discovered your channel and love it. My wife and I run a little Coachman 17FG We just got into it bigger the last year with trips though the Rocky Mountains and then to San Diego (about 9000 miles total). Found your video searching for Key West trips, as that is our next adventure, thank you for the great video!
I just left the Keys last night. Beautiful as always. I was at Stock Island too, at The Oceans Edge Resort. Your Keys vids are my favourites and howIfound your channel. I think the music you’ve composed works so well with the Keys visuals. Cheers, Robert!
I've been to Key west back in 2001 absolutely loved it it was a wonderful place. Also Dry tortegous fort Jefferson 70 miles out in the ocean went snorkeling there. The water was so green blue. Key largo & daytona beach was awesome too. At sunset on duvall street there are street performers I got a full body massage it wasn't cheap but had a vacation of a lifetime. I so miss it & would love to someday go back. Great video, thank you for sharing.✌ 🙂👍
Wonderful music. The beginning reminds me Fleetwood Mac: Big Love. Something similar with rhythm. I enjoyed the video. I put Key West on my have to see list.
I found Robert's channel as an RV focus. But his real strength is as a travelogue. He's really terrific and unique.
Thank you!
One thing I truly enjoy about your videos. They are honest and tell it like it is, without sounding like pure negativity. Its just a small dose of honesty that's refreshing. Very nice
So glad you like them. I try to keep it real. The fact that I love a place doesn't mean that it doesn't has its flaws.
I love your voice Robert! I love the sound of your voice, your accent, the inflection you place on words, and your humor. You are very enjoyable to listen to. I could listen for hours. Keep up the great videos.
Free in my RV... that tune is permanently in my head now. My brain digs it!
We got a kick at around 27:30, the seagull slipping of the railing as you walked by my wife laughed & said, Happy Feet! Then we both cracked up.
Enjoy your videos! 👏
Thank you for going up all those stairs in the lighthouse and filming the view for us.
You're welcome
Ya . . . and saved your viewers $10, in the process ! 😇
These Florida RV trips (especially the keys) do stay my favorite videos :D
Hi Robert, I never get tired of your Key West trips. I always feel like I’ve just come back from a mini vacation. Thanks!
@Lloyd Bonafide It was nice back in the 70's before there were all the tourists...I lived there for about 6 months and it was beautiful but went back about ten years ago and it was just an over priced, run down tourist spot.
Nice area , but a bit too touristy for me. But at least Robert gets about and explores, so I can't complain.
@Lloyd Bonafide THANKS for the morning. Was once homeless, D.C. metropolis . . . purhaps I could visit my 'brothers' and see if I could help them ! 🇺🇸
I can never get enough of the Key West Videos! Love them!
Another amazing visit of Key West! Great views underwater, sunsets, drone, etc. etc.
Tank you very much for all your work Robert !
Really cool you found your childhood address from Cuba. I was adopted into a Cuban family and your voice reminds me of my grandfather. They are all dead now and I miss that lifestyle.
The whistle bar on Duvall..yep I've had a drink up on the balcony. Spanish Colonial style architecture..cool.
My family from Alsace Loraine was shipwrecked on the Florida reefs in 1843. They were taken by lighter boat to Key West and decided to live there. Wow this reminds me of my home Grand Cayman especially the beach at the ending of the video with the casuarina trees. We have lovely beaches white powdery sands. I'm feeling a little nostalgic watching this video.
Finding your childhood phone # in the old phone book was pretty cool.
Keep on talking Robert!!! You could talk about algebra and I would still listen for hours. Talk about Key West and I’m hooked for life!!!
I never tire of your Key West videos. Such an interesting, historic place and no one does it better than you. Good to 'see' Ileana enjoying a Mohito with you. The Keys are coming soon
Golden tones narrator, videographer, expert drone pilot . . . quite a resume!

The beach where you were snorkeling..by the Naval base, that's the one I went to. Great place, have an IPA for me..I want to go back.
I’ve been 👇 there twice & enjoyed my solo adventures. Great video 👍🏻

Glad you finally made it to the lighthouse.
Looked like a fun weekend trip ❤
Lived in FL from 1999 to 2015. LOVED it!! I’d love to go back for good.
I love the keys. Wish I could live there all year round. Out of all your videos, these are my favorite.
I have a client who lives there year round - she operates her out of state business from Key West. You can do it if it is truly your desire.
Your channel is very good reminds of the travel channel when it had travel on it. Very good commentary!
"when it had travel on it" Ha! Great comment!
Nice tour. I’ve only been here 1 time. Off a cruise ship. 1 of 3 in port. SO crowded! Can’t wait to try it again with my own camper van. K

Amazing video...loved the way you took the camera underwater and gave a glimpse of the marine life :) What a lovely beach
What a great video. Been there once. Can't wait to return.
Thanks Robert!
Mile markers to the restroom, hilarious 🤣🤣

A very good voice from the one doing the talking, Robert and is very educational without negativity which abounds these days by less discriminating loggists
Love your videos. .Robert
Key West. Rate 10....makes
Me want to Travel more...very enjoyable. ..
Another great video. The Key West Lighthouse always has the best souvenirs from local artists. You don’t need to pay to get to the gift shop and you have great photo ops along the way!
Love the hop on and off trolley. The pelican almost cooperated with “the fly pelican fly”.
Wayne and Carrie
Love “traveling” with you, Robert! ❤️ It’s great fun, and it’s like being on a vacation. Love the iguana! My uncle Dale was a specialist nurse in Key West, years ago.
I am trying to catch up on all your cool shows. My wife and I like them all. I have been to Key West a few times before I met my wife. We have been married 32 plus years and your videos bring back memories. I want to take my wife their.

Thank you!
Love this traveling with Robert . He’s so nice and fun .
Would love to meet Robert and hear more about his travels .
Just discovered your channel and love it. My wife and I run a little Coachman 17FG We just got into it bigger the last year with trips though the Rocky Mountains and then to San Diego (about 9000 miles total). Que bello video sobre Cayo Hueso, gracias señor Robert. Verdad que tu éres un guía turísta ! :)
You make very good videos, Robert. Really enjoy them. Excellent presentations. Thank you
Good souvenir, I lived in KW for almost 9 years.

Wonderful music. The beginning reminds me Fleetwood Mac: Big Love. Something similar with rhythm. I enjoyed the video. I put Key West on my have to see list.
So many impressions from this nice place. Like it! Thanks!
I have found if it is a sandy beach, not much sea life. If it has a lot of rocks, lots of sea life. It's a good trade off for snorkeling!
