I understand that this is an old comment, but nonetheless you genuinely reek of ignorance. I have a question for you, if it was only Allah SWT who knew the Awliya, and they were thus unidentifiable, then why does Allah Most High state in a Hadith Qudsi:
“Whosoever shows enmity to a wali (friend) of Mine, then I have declared war against him.”
Would it make sense for Allah SWT to punish us for something that we are not capable of knowing? Of course not. It is therefore clear as ice that when Allah SWT makes such a statement, it means that the Awliya are recognizable without a shadow of a doubt. You can try and hide behind your ignorance, but it will not save you. On the Day of Resurrection, will Allah accept the enemy of the Awliya’s claim to ignorance when he says, “O Allah, I did not know he was a wali”? Will Allah accept a Christian’s claim to ignorance when he says, “O Allah, I did not know that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was Your Messenger”? No. Ignorance is not an excuse. You and people like you try to use the guise of ignorance whenever it suits you to attempt to evade and deny fundamental points of Islamic creed, and you know exactly who I am talking about. So, quit playing coy. The Awliya are not only recognizable, but MUST be recognized as taught by Allah’s Messenger ﷺ in an authentic narration:
“Whoever dies and did not make an oath of allegiance (to the Muslim leader) has died a death of jaahiliyyah.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1851)
