As a Christian I always thought the whole motive behind the possession being “to cleanse other people from their sins” is totally demonic since only JC can do that, however the motive given in the film that the possession was to show people how real hell is and therefore how real the need for salvation through JC is, gave me absolute chills! Not that God’s will was for her to become possessed, but that He can literally make beauty out of the worst ashes. It’s such a tragic case nonetheless. 😔

That's one thing people don't realize...it's actually pretty hard to get approved for exorcism. People also don't realize that not every priest is an exorcist. I think here in the US there is only a handful of them. Like you said too it's a long process as well.
I saw this movie with an ex-gf when it came out. I thought that it was mostly boring with a couple of creepy parts. I've read about possession throughout the years and it almost always seems to happen to people/families who are super religious. You would think that 'demons' would have a much easier time possessing people who are atheists or agnostic. This poor girl just wasn't getting the proper care, in any respect, and I feel so sorry for her.
I love that movie it's one of the few movies that actually fucking horrifies me. the scene where the boy wakes up and she's all contorted and staring at him with the black eyes... that ruined me lol
I have heard the recordings before to this day it is the most scariest shit ever!!! But... With that being said she was a adult and wrote permission to do it I don't think they should have been charged I understand the note could have been fake too she also begged the church to help so I just hope she R.I.P

I do believe she was possessed. Never heard of a seizure making a person eat coal & spiders. And the knee cap thing!! Makes me cringe. Love your skull look very cool. And u told the story. VEry well.
