The first story - The guy with the hot shot or cattle prod. In order for those to work, they have to make contact with something conductive. If holding it in the air and press the button it won’t do anything but make a buzzing or humming noise. For example, If you use it on a metal pipe, you’ll see a visible arc. If you encounter that again break the wand it’s fiberglass/plastic, then it’s useless. Be safe
You cannot be overly cautious. If you get that feeling about a person or situation, listen to it. Have your phone in an easily accessible area or in your hand. Take pictures and tag numbers of anything suspicious or that seems off. I saw a story about a young woman abducted from the curb where she was waiting for her ride. She was right beside a convenience store but it happened so fast that nobody saw it. It only takes a couple of seconds. Personally, I am a dog lover and keep a pit pull. He's very protective and anyone who wants to get to me has to go through through him first. He gets in-between me and anyone he doesn't know or trust. He's got my back 🥰 I'm also a gun enthusiast so I carry at all times (I live in the country and also hunt so it's not unusual here).

I’m at a small party in the summer of 1999…uptown Minneapolis. My friend was dating the homeowner. The party winds down. It’s late. I decide rather than drive the 8 blocks home I crash on the couch….No big deal. The house had huge windows and trees all over the property. I awake at 5 a.m with birds chirping really loud and light coming through the curtain-less windows. I try but just can’t fall back to sleep due to the noise and light so I just decide to walk home. I’m wearing a fancy dress from the night before and walking barefoot because the heels I had were just too high. I come upon a normal looking man standing behind a white cargo van. He looks at me and politely asks, “oh perfect timing can you please give me a hand with this shelf?” I stopped dead in my tracks and got the scariest feeling and make out a scream of no and run as fast as a can the other way. He screams c- -,- - and pounds his fist at me. I’ll never forget the horrific, evil snarl on his face when I glanced back. Not sure why my urge was to run but I think it was the right move.

#13 made up. Makes no sense. He gets on a small, cramped bus that only has 5 other people. They stop for a bathroom break, and no one, the driver or or other passengers, noticed he wasn't on the bus? And when you're listening during a ride, the first thing you do when you stop is _turn_ _it_ _off_ and take the earbuds out. Plus, you can hear vehicles while wearing earbuds, especially something as big as a bus. Then 3 random pick up trucks happen to pull over, in the middle of nowhere, right where he is 🙄
I mean… you make some decent points, but I can’t write it off wholly. OP said the driver was off the bus having a smoke and saw him get back on after peeing, but may not have seen him get back off to have his own cig. Off a full 🔋, I could easily listen to hours of music on my phone, plus power banks are a thing too. The part I really can’t discount involve the trucks pulling up with unsavory characters in them. Latin America is no joke when it comes to folks getting snatched up. So while one can hope that this tale was made up, my hope is that everyone was safe and kept their heads.
Story 11 about the girl friend testifying: I hope I’m not too late but my nephew had these exact same issues and he found out the providing dealer was close to the cartel and they never touched or talked to him but was always there even at places he swore he wasn’t followed .., I’m not sure if it was some kinda scare tactic or what but he’s a big guy that was about to have a nervous breakdown
When I was living in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, there was two times that an all black, ( tires, rims, windows, [tinted beyond civilian tint], and paint), would come screaming through Fort Sumner. Whoever was driving the vehicle was driving way over the speed limit, which was 35 in town. They must have been doing closer to 100 mph. The vehicle did not have any markings at all, not even a license plate. I saw the vehicle when it was crossing the Pecos River bridge when I was walking to town, so it was close range. The vehicle was driving from the East to the West. I could hear the siren from when the vehicle was driving through Taiban, to when the vehicle was about 10-15 miles West of Fort Sumner. I wish that I knew what branch of the U. S. government that vehicle belonged to, and what the emergency was. I watched T. V., listened to the radio, and read a lot of newspapers, over the next year, and never saw anything that would explain that vehicle flying through Fort Sumner like that.

Kids get a raw deal sometimes. It's unfair and sets them up for major challenges down the road. Hurt's my soul to know that kids everywhere/everyday are having to figure out how to deal with circumstances that they had nothing to do with, other than being born.

I knew of a kid who did that but not sure how detailed her "memories" were. She also had an imaginary friend and eventually started to say it was her brother, her mom had a miscarriage. But I felt like her mom fed her those thoughts

Kids get a raw deal sometimes. It's unfair and sets them up for major challenges down the road. Hurt's my soul to know that kids everywhere/everyday are having to figure out how to deal with circumstances that they had nothing to do with, other than being born.

Just firsthand accounts that usually include grammatical/syntax errors, language barriers and regional slang.
