Jesus doesn't force Himself on anyone. There will come a time in your life, maybe in the last moments, when you realize without Jesus there's nothing left but a dark hole. Give Jesus the opportunity to open up your life in ways you'll never experience without Him.

I agree bro. Yes, we should not idolize anybody but Jesus, but like you said, little kids look up to their older peers just like they do with their parents. If we can show the love of Jesus, like these NFL players did, that’s doing God’s work by showing the kids his love and grace and his mercy❤

To be honest: those players would be better to ask that question to, not me.
However, if I was in their shoes and asked that question, I would respond with Romans 14:5 "One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be convinced in his own mind."
There is freedom & liberty in the life of a believer. If a believer choses to go to church on the Lord's day or play a football game, they're free to do that, as long as their motive is genuine, for the Lord, and done in faith & reverence to Christ.
