You won't make a huge profit. I have been getting about double my investment in each piece. So if I spent $1.50 per item, I will get $3 at the BST stores. And its a lot of work. I have had to go to each store a few times as they don't typically take it all at once depending on who is doing the buying. I like to get these boxes because they are fun to open, lol, and usually you get some pieces that you can sell yourself and cover the cost of the box (even more if you are lucky). The stuff I take to BST is just the icing on the cake. I get to use that money and purchase things from the BST that I would like to sell even more than what I got in the box.
Hi! I'm an Arizonian as well - Apache Junction - but for your work clothes - maybe look into donating to a place that helps ladies dress to get back into the workforce. But some of the "older" brands I would try listing! Just found you and I am enjoying your videos!
If you live in the same city as me (which it sounds like you do), I wouldn't be hopeful when selling to the BST stores. I think you'll be lucky to make $40 from all the BST stores. I seen quite a few cute "mature" brand pieces I think you can sell yourself. I think you could get $30-40 on the get into trouble skirt just based on style.
You weren’t too far off with that I got from the BST stores! I ended up getting about $50 combined from Buffalo Exchange and Plato’s Closet and then another $15 from the garage sale. I cherry picked a few of the left over items including the Levi’s skirt. Most of the career pieces are going back to ThredUp, just not my style to list myself.
i have had some really good boxes lately especially denim boxes. the denim boxes have been performing super well the last few times I've ordered them. i hadn't gotten a mixed box in a while so i cant say how those have been but i just ordered 200 pounds during their 30% off sale so hopefully it'll be good. sorry your box wasn't crazy amazing! hoping you still make lots of money :) also my boxes come from Georgia which seems to do better than ones I've gotten from other warehouses.
I will have to look out for the denim boxes in the future. I have already made back about $65 dollars without listing anything yet so I'm hopeful there is profit in it. Wishing you the best on your 200LBS :)
@@alexandraliley9620 I’ve had some really good success with the 200 pounders it’s just been like 7 months since I’ve gotten one . Hoping you find some good gems!
Do you think I can make my money back???
I know this is 5 months later, however, those Y2K pieces babydoll tops and dresses are trending and selling, some for good money!
I may have a few lying around. Thanks for the info!
WOW...thoses boxes do not hold the treasures they used to.
Annnndddd that's why I don't buy them at full price, lol
Do you find it is worth it to buy these boxes and take them to your local buy/sell/trade?

I doubt it, and I'm really worried because I bought that box too.

@alexandraliley9620 All boxes are different and it is a gamble for sure :)
I feel like the last batch of boxes that went out for the St. Patrick's Day sale have been very under welming.
This one for sure was underwhelming yet I just did another unboxing and it was much better so stay tuned!
I received a 200 lb Box…..got. it on sale…it was AWFUL……I donated 95% of it!
Oh no! They are such a gamble which is why I only get them on sale.
Omg. I feel bad for you. Sorry. Hope your 2nd box will be better. 😢
No need to feel bad 😊 it’s the luck of the drawl with these mystery boxes.
