Good pod. You should go more in depth with the Duren effort thing. Is it a clip?

@@PistonsTalk Not to read into it that much, but I think they wanted Monty fired. Not giving effort and admitting it says a lot.

Also regarding Jalen Green not getting extended, Houston has the luxury of having a plethora of young talent. They’re not going to limit cap flexibility my throwing maxes out when they can wait until restricted free agency to potentially sign them
    To a better deal.
Sengun is more deserving of a max than Cade but Houston isn’t dumb, they’re going to wait til next summer to open up more cap flexibility to add talent around him moving forward.
Pistons gave a max to Cade because he’s all they got & the only young player on that team that has shown the ability to earn it

It’s funny listening to this episode after the amount of shit this fanbase talked about Houston last year for the moves they made. Finally Piston fans are starting to catch on to what helps young players grow.
Could luck trying to match Houston’s 19 game win improvement from last year. Unfortunately the young talent in Detroit isn’t as good

Yeah he was, what’s funny is he was asking for $20 million a year and he had to settle for a cheaper contract
