Good episode. Enjoy the analysis and perspective that your guest provided. Kinda makes you think outside of the box with what this team can accomplish in the upcoming season 🤔
We will win 21 games if all goes well health wise while allowing the young core to develop w/o having the vets consume most of the minutes…Ace Bailey yall???
Biggest mistake was not drafting Clingan and letting Wiseman go. We have no one that's a legit center to back up Duren and his health and D is very questionable. Do you really buy that "I wasn't trying line?" How do you not try when your team is setting loss records. Real winners try harder when things get tough.
@@PistonsTalk I am really high on Duren, but I think he is more offensive minded. Plus take the 04 Pistons for example. They had B Wallace 6'9, R Wallace 6'11, Z Rebraca 7'0, M Okur 6'11, D Milicic 7'0, E Campbell, 7'0. The season is long, and the Pistons got beat up down low last year. We are smaller now, Duren is our biggest at 6'10, if he gets hurt or sick, we got nothing.
When you say Wiseman is a good basketball player you lose all credibility. I don't see the upside with Clingan but he does seem to be an NBA ready career backup, much like Duren has become.
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 Wiseman was showing signs of improvement but I never said he was good. For a big man he is really quick his contract is small and we have an open roster spot. I am just saying we are really short on biggs, pun intended.
@@jeramibanks3276 it sounded like you were including Wiseman in the biggest mistake category. While I don't want to waste a vet min spot on him, I can see the appeal. If Wiseman could become a below average defender he could at least be a third string center, and maybe even start. The Pistons need a starting center but Stew and Reed are both good enough to be the backup center. Will Duren make a big jump defensively?
Lebron couldn’t be on this team in the modern nba? That’s absolutely the worst take I’ve ever heard. Cade is no where near a Lebron level talent and never will be. There’s no buzz on him and he’ll be hurt again this year.

Time will tell Jerami I know you were really high on him for awhile

The word has multiple definitions. Clearly this was kind of nice.

Wouldn't want a 40 year lebron taking the ball out of these kids hands. If you want to stunt development that would be the ideal way to do it.
@@Warden033 Yes, of course this is true.
Pistons should get John wall as a vet back up
Not a terrible idea wouldn’t hate it
@@PistonsTalk He's retired, stop it.
