That was an awesome submission. I absolutely love the Torchic even though it got the 8. Such a gorgeous card. And a huge congrats on the 10s. Honestly to have those in any grades are amazing.
Wow, that's an incredible return. I don't think you should be too disappointed with the 8's and 9's. Often, it takes a lot of looking over a card to determine where they may have docked a grade. A 9 is still a mint card. But that Espeon my GOD 😍
What you didn’t seem to consider, but even once, was holo condition. 1 scratch, even very light, that’s a 9. A few light scratches? Ones you can barely see, and those ex’s have whole Holo borders… yeah, they’ll get 8s.

How many times have you resent best nines? I'd see some heaviest to be profitable to be resent 5-10 times and pops will grow like this. I think the ratio was just what I expected, about 30% get PSA10 and is reasonable. How did you store the cards? Just in a binder and sleeved?

My point is that it’s pretty ridiculous to complain or even mention a “psa 8 tax” when this sub is beyond lucky. Back to back metagross goldstar holos? The odds of that happening even if they are truly, objectively perfect is less than 5%. Yeah he was totally “taxed” on a sub he’ll profit $30,000++ on.

Literally impossible not to. No need for the awkward “let’s goooos” as if you’re surprised, respectfully. Love for there to be more focus on the rarity of the cards in high grades.
