Tom Jones is 83 years old and can still tear it up with these youngsters. Geddit boy!
Sasha looks so at home when she sings with Tom, like they were meant for this. Tom is an old pro, a true master of the duet, and he sets things up beautifully for Sasha here. The "chain refrain" with its sliding notes was expertly done and is quite a hard trick to pull off, requiring expert timing. Around two minutes in Sasha showed her strength wonderfully and the ending was suitably climactic. I loved this and it was a real highlight of the finals.
They should form a band 😬😎
Completely agree with you. Tom must be intimidating to sing with in lots of ways but not for Sasha. She seemed both to relax and to come alive with him. Trust is such a vital thing.
Irma Amri Oh, I think any good singer would be at home with Tom. Look at the way they make eye contact and keep in sync. Tom did the same with Sally in a previous season. He makes it so easy.

Tom is so clever, he gave sasha the final part of the song to really actually "show her talent" it was clearly thought out well to make sure that sasha stood out! Bravo, again again!

Oh no, it's such a shame she is out. When she said that several months ago she wouldn't even leave her house makes it all the more precious that she was here now. She has made a mark on both the voice and Sir Tom Jones, and I'm so upset to see her leave. I'm so glad she appeared on this show. :)

To me Tom Jones sounds like Duddly Dooright doing karaoke. Never liked him, never will. He sings in the same range and dips to fake lows. 4 octave range supposedly but I don't believe it. He has huge gaps in the lower range.

Never liked him. Even when he was young I just never liked his voice. A lot of people didn't like him back then either. In fairness to him he has gotten better over the years but I still don't like him and I don't know anyone my age who liked him. I am not kidding .....nobody I have ever known has liked him except a few of my friends mom's back in the 70's or was it the 60s.
He has gotten better over the years. When I was young we had "What's new pussy cat" and crap like that. I guess he's OK but I won't listen to him.
Rita Ora needs to kearn what real singing sounds like. Maybe one day she will learn. Until then just sit down and watch.
