    great video, nice and clear thanks- as far as I know, the slots were manufactured by Citroen according to my workshop manual and there was a special tool specifically made to stop the tube turning...

      I'm pretty sure I've seen them with and without slots. I wonder if it's a time frame thing, but they certainly make sense and a special tool also makes sense. Might have to think about making one up when I come to reassemble! Thanks.

      It might help, not sure what it looked like but the part no. was 3458T

    Awkward one Dave, can you not just apply heat to the bump stop? once the rubber has burned off, you should be able to get it hot enough and then just replace the stop?

      Thanks Chris. I used the angle grinder on one of the others but getting rid of the rubber would be a good solution.
