Telltale games are kinda like interactive movies...but they are great, the problem with this game is that it isn't that good and of course they just did it to gain money...

Also, besides that, Tetris Effect doesn't have one but in a theory I made I said that it does have a story. You can check it out if you want, but TL;DR the "character" of the game (You) is either helping someone to discover Metamorphosis, you are trying to discover Metamorphosis and someone else too or you yourself are metamorphosising.
So I was accidentally given MC story mode for Christmas and due to the fact that I didn't want to come off as an asshole I played it. And I was surprised with its story because it was surprisingly intriguing

Yo, Hi-rez released a new game called "Palladins", from its name I guess it's some RPG. *Sees trailer* "Build your deck" - oh so it's a card game like Hearthstone. *Then actual gameplay is shown* - what? Is it gameplay from Overwatch? *Then I saw tons of Overwatch characters but with retarded skins* - WAT? T_T
Actually this seems like one of the developer's most risky project. It didn't have the backstory and characters the other games had to rely on. They were pretty much given a blank slate to begin with, since Minecraft doesn't have a story mode. And that's more difficult than to make "The Wolf Among Us" where they had tons of Fables comics where the characters were all fleshed out. But since they have been doing these type of games for so long I bet their Minecraft story mode is ... well, Telltale-ish. Which means it's perfectly adequate. You'll only buy it if you're a Minecraft fan and you'll have fun playing it. But people who don't enjoy the graphics and don't play Minecraft will steer away from it; and if they enjoy adventure games they'll simply buy other Telltale games. But from a Venn diagram point of view I think a Telltale adventure game and Minecraft was a solid project. P.S.: Not sure how the Venn diagram works, since I saw famous notebook brand Moleskine putting out weekly and daily 2017 planning notebooks with Batman motiffs.
To be honest I would play Minecraft RPG in medieval style filled with different cities, castles, quests and bosses, would be pretty damn cool to actually be able to BUY a crop in a city from the king and then build a house. Oh god.

I was actually uncertain about Minecraft Story Mode. I loved The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Tales From The Borderlands, so I'm pretty much onboard with Telltale's style and really love it. I was just coming off of Life Is Strange and still craving more episodic storytelling so I bit the bullet and purchased Minecraft Story Mode. It's actually a really great entry into the Telltale lineup, I like the story and the characters and the blocky aesthetic is unique and interesting.
TenickPlayz your probably 8 or 10 because only people that are 8 or 10 like Minecraft and get bored of it at 12 and you probably watch Minecraft TH-camr's and they think fart jokes are funny and bye!

TBH, this game surprised me. The characters aren't one dimensional (except for a few) and if you give a sh*t like he said, you can actually like the storyline. The wither storm is my all time favourite villain just because it has no goal other than to kill everything in its path.
i for one like this game, like you said in the trailer, it's like the lego movie. Great story, great characters, great atmosphere, great theme, and a lot of funny moments. :)
