I loved this episode and I loved April Pearson. Listening to April share her experiences on the show Skins, both about fashion and shooting certain scenes, made me realize that sometimes actors don't have freedom of choice over some aspects of their characters (even if April herself decides not to question the costumes). The moment she talked about the sex scenes, I felt that was a very important topic, because the reality is very different for both genders during these recordings and mostly actresses feel uncomfortable with It, but the directors seem to not care. Anyways, I loved this episode - maybe it was my favourite but we'll keep that as a secret -, and I can't wait to see more episodes! 🤍✨
Theres a Skins episode based at a metal gig. When they did the casting call for extras, two groups of people end up being informed - Skins fans via the Skins fan pages etc, and the regular go-ers of the metal club that the scene was being recorded in. I had never seen Skins but was a regular at the metal club that also advertised the need for extras for the scene. The fun thing was, when we turned up and had to jump around like mad people, "moshing" to the music, there was so many people who clearly had never been to a metal gig in their life.. hiding at the back of the room, horrified by the behaviour of all the metal fans having a great time on the dance floor! You could definately tell who came with what casting call hahaha
Fabulous interview! Loved all of it! The viewpoint she gave being a young person on a series, and her history in the industry was very insightful. Also loved the mini-astonomy lesson! 😁
1:04:53 - You can drop Nokia 5110 from space and I swear it would not break... Me: But it won't fall from space James 💀💀 But yeah, trust him on the metaphor... Nokia is unbreakable...🙃🙃
I have a lot of woodpeckers in my neighbourhood so I quite enjoyed the "did you know?" from this episode. Some of them tend to peck at the metal that's attached to the telephone poles, and we always assumed it was because they were dumb, but maybe they're just trying to communicate (or they could just be dumb, who knows?)😛 Great episode as always, boys!
Great episode and an amazing guest. Listening to April was very interesting. I completely agree, Nokia 5110 is definitely unbreakable. 😆 And you could use it almost one week without charging the phone. Good old days 😊

Ngl, an actor saying he felt "empowered" doing a sex scene seems hella creepy to me! Just doesn't sit right with me at all! 😳
Lol…… James finally allowed Oliver to say “Just remember to like to subscribe…”
