"The thought of the temple came to my mind and to my heart so clearly that I had a homesickness for it. I also had a remembrance that I could go there and within those walls, while not everything is solved or fixed, everything is okay. You leave feeling like everything is okay. You're elevated. At that moment, I'm like, I know I have to take the steps to get back to the temple. I have to make this an active part of my life - not just a thought. I have to say that receiving the restoration of my temple blessings was the most incredibly profound experience I've had in coming to know the power - the atoning power - of my Savior, Jesus Christ."

EXCUSE ME this was INCREDIBLE!!! This amazing woman poured out her whole heart and soul! She’s so genuine and real! She shared sacred visions that she experienced! Words that the Father gave her! Having gone through my own desperate journey for real happiness outside of the Church and come back, I’m so edified! Thank you so much ❤
She spoke miracles, one that I’m going to try and say in the mirror every day or often is: “How could I ever be ashamed of who I am if He isn’t?”

Katherine, you came to Cardston on a tour wit Kenneth Cope twenty eight years ago. You ate dinner at our home. You were a wonderful beautiful person. We loved getting to know you and hear you sing. Old Eyes was one song. Thank you for your inspiring message of hope. We need to hear this beautiful testimony from you. So glad you are back. This is our hope for some of our loved ones. Our best to you.

My husband and I gave talks today in sacrament mtg. The topic was Redeemer of Israel. I felt strongly while researching the subject that because I am yoked with the Savior, I am worthy. Jesus is the partner with me in becoming perfect. I’m a huge way from being perfect, but because I have a perfect partner, I am worthy today.”

I remember lying down at night before bed, listening to Kat's songs from the EFY album when I was 15. I remember realizing that other guys my age would probably think it was really weird as they were probably in their rooms listening to Weezer or Metallica or something "cooler." ;) But I didn't care. There was something profound about those songs that gave me courage. I then took those songs with me on my mission.
How beautiful to hear her story and consider the words she probably sang thousands of times (and I listened to thousands more):
"And the battlefield is strewn with broken lives
Torn and tattered in the struggle to survive
But I will not be a casualty of this war I didn't start
I'll fight with a fearless heart"
Going to flip on EFY 1999 right now for a good listen. Thank you, Kat!

Joseph Smiths vision of his family in the celestial kingdom, he was told: those people would make it, because they would have chosen it if they were able to tarry. We need to do our part, then trust Jesus and others that they will do theirs. Just do your best to reach your own potential.

We go to church because of our testimony but sometimes members don't have boudaries (specially those who grew in little towns). A sister of my age told me once: why do you still wear high heels when you already have husband?. I was in schock I could't answer. But my answers would have been: because I like them and my husband like them too.

    The Church is true.
But the Scriptures testify the leaders have gone astray.
It’s been this way throughout history.
I know they say the Lord will never let them take the Church astray but no Scripture says that or in other words, the Lord never has said that.
Never stop reading the Scriptures because they testify of what’s going on that we can’t see elsewhere.
And Peter and Alma warn us if we wrest the Scriptures we do so to our own destruction.
The Lord our God gave Abraham a promise.
And this is the promise God gave Abraham.
That in Abraham’s seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.
    And that seed is Christ.
And although Abraham and Sara, Enoch, Abel and Noah all died not receiving the promises, they died in faith, seeing the promises afar off.
Only the promises of our God shall be made sure.
    And the scriptures testify,
Never has a prophet, and apostle or a prophetess ever said these words in the Scriptures -
    I promise…
For to do so would make themselves instead of God making evident the truthfulness of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2.
    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
There was a falling away we know then the resoration occurs and Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a Church member having all the rights of the preisthood of God and fights against God, as did Judas.
And read the heading or D&C 112 it’s directed especially to the twelve -
… concerning the Twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth, a day of wrath, a day of burning, a day of desolation, of weeping, of mourning, and of lamentation; and as a whirlwind it shall come upon all the face of the earth, saith the Lord.
And upon my house shall it begin and from my house shall it go forth, saith the Lord; First among those among you, saith the Lord, who have professed to know my name and have not known me, and have blasphemed against me in the midst of my house, saith the Lord. (D&C 112)
You can believe God or man, it's your choice.
The Scriptures are God and what the Church leaders have taught, is man.
If the Lord will never let his leaders lead the Church astray, why throughout history has the Church been led astray? the Scriptures testify.
Whether by my own voice or the voice of my servants it is the same the Lord says in the D&C but we are responsible to check what's taught against canonized Scripture and will be held responsible for what is written, not said over the pulpit.
