@@MusicTheoriesChannel A little unsolicited UI suggestion: Here on TH-cam our circular icons are super-duper small, which means, if we want our branded icon to be bold, recognizable, and memorable, the subject within that tiny circle needs to maximize that itty-bitty real estate, leaving as little negative space as possible. Even on _my_ icon, my cat character could be even slightly bigger and still retain those side-colors. For _your_ branding, I suggest scratching the text and maximizing that cool cassette tape--its corners almost touching the circle’s border, or maybe even going _beyond_ the border, with no space left on the tape’s sides and a bit of space left on top and bottom; it should still be recognizable as a cassette tape even with some of it hidden. Hmm, if you wanted to keep “Music Theories” as a part of the graphic, maybe you could add a long white “sticker” beneath the two gears and layer on top “Music Theories” with a handwritten font…very 80s-cassette-tape-esque 😉👍🏻 Love your content. I think prince had a bit beef with the industry, and Dylans i heard has agreed to his full catalogue private deal purchase, apparently Burt Bacharach did ok, and Herb Alpert made a few bob producing i think jazz albums. Suprised at P Simon alledgedly claiming he wrote scarborough fair, an old folk song sang here for yonkie donkeys. Was hard watching amy winehouse fall, surprised when diana krall marryied elvis costello , but they must make a few thousand. Lol.
Maybe useful titbit for future videos: what in American English is called "vaudeville", in British English is called "music hall". (Julie Andrews, for example, grew up in a music hall background.) I think the concept - under whichever name - has mostly died out now, other than with enthusiasts who like to dress as the audiences did in the days of its height. (Even for such, the programmes probably can't include some aspects of what they once did - performing animals, racial stereotyping - due to changes in both legislation and also social attitudes/norms.)

But I think both are/were "a series of separate, unrelated acts grouped together on a common bill." I think the term just "variety" survived both for a little while. Basically, a series of acts, often just for the purpose of bringing in patrons to eat and/or drink - sometimes the audience area was rows of seats like a theatre, sometimes tables.
