    Bante.. There is some misunderstanding
About the external and internal teachings of the Satipatthna. The division between internal and external is imposed becouse of Self (there is no devision without self)
so..The same body is divided into internal and external becoz of self view.. Sathipattana is not mentioned other people’s bodies
Commentaries views & abhidhamma teachings about this fact are worng
Example : how can someone sees someone else's 7 factors of awakening
Its not practical.. ! lord buddha focus us to see selfness and non-selfness of body, feelings, mind and dhamma

Interesting point. If I understand this correctly In the workshops Ajahn Brahmali felt that the Satipatthana sutta described 2 different focusses. Initially the focus is abandoning the hindrances, building the factors of awakening to lead to stillness / jhana (i.e. what you could call a Samantha focus). It is here that there are still hindrances and thus a self-view. Once jhana is achieved the mind is sufficiently still and calm to see clearly into the Noble Truths, 3 characteristics etc (what you could call a vipassana focus). Samatha and vipassana deepen together throughout the practice, but the liberating insights are only really possible once the hindrances are abandoned through jhana.

I think that this could be the way to interpret internally and externally.
Internally could mean taking body as self.
Externally would then mean taking body as belonging to self.
Internally and externally is either body as a part of self or Self as a part of body.
Same applies to feeling, mind and dhamma.
Chinese agama term it as 是我,异我,相在。
